A Perfect Lie Hides Behind My Billionaire Marriage (reese and hudson)

Chapter 483

Lukas smiled and replied, "I can't help it. I don't want to be a scoundrel in front of you. You kiss me. What can I do? What do you
think, baby?"
Reese blushed and pursed her lips, at a loss for words, "Stand up first and let me sit properly."
She found that Lukas was like an overzealous puppy, always jumping on her and playfully pinning her down.
Lukas, seeing her request, obediently got up and let her sit up. He watched her with an indulgent smile.
As much as he wanted to keep Reese by his side, he knew it was a fantasy. It was not realistic at all. Otherwise, she would
definitely get angry.
Besides, it was lunch time, so he couldn't fool around.
Once Reese was upright, she quickly resumed eating, taking apart a pair of disposable chopsticks and continuing her meal.
Lukas couldn't take his eyes off her, watching her every move.
Reese noticed his gaze and said, "Hurry up and eat. Are you just going to stare at me?"

Lukas' eyes sparkled and he didn't answer her question. He was just content to admire her while he still could, in the knowledge
that she would soon be on her way.
He asked her, "So, what would you like to have for dinner this evening? Let's go out."
The two of them had been in receipt of their certificates and had yet to have a proper celebratory dinner.
Reese looked at him with a look of amusement, "You have dinner on your mind already? Well, I don't know what to eat. I find it
hard to decide, especially when it comes to dinner. When we eat together, you can choose. You don't have to ask me. Just book
a restaurant and I'll find something I like from their menu."
Lukas smiled, "All right, I'll leave the decision up to you."
When Reese finished her lunch, she prepared to leave. She was afraid that Raven would return and inquire about her
whereabouts.
But Lukas wasn't about to let her go so easily. He held onto her hand, unwilling to let go.

Reese began to walk toward the office door with Lukas still holding her hand.
She turned to look at him with a helpless expression on her face, placed her other hand on top of his that was holding hers, and

said quietly, "Lukas, I really have to
go."
Lukas, looking somewhat dejected, said, "I'll hold you again then just for a few moments, please?"
Reese took hold of the hand that was still clinging to hers, and her fingers brushed against a scar on the palm of his hand. She
examined it carefully and said, "Oh no, you have a scar here.
Lukas didn't seem to care and said, "It's nothing. Most men have scars all over their bodies."
Reese was worried about the scar, "But this one looks pretty deep. I don't think it will go away that easily."
Lukas looked into her eyes, filled with deep, irrevocable heartache. He smiled and hugged her, saying, "It's okay. As long as we
both remember it, the scar in the palm of my hand will be the proof that I loved you. That's enough."
Reese looked at Lukas with red-rimmed eyes and felt that she was genuinely touched.
Lukas, who was not able to resist her gaze, felt the intensity of her emotions and the desire in her eyes. Her eyes were big and
bright, like those of a small rabbit, and they made him want to kiss her again, right then and there.
Lukas' Adam's apple bobbed as a dark, intense glow filled his eyes. His voice took on a husky quality. He whispered, "Baby,
don't look at me that way."
Unaware of the effect she had on him, Reese looked at him innocently, "What's wrong?"
Before she could say anything else, Lukas captured her lips in a passionate kiss that showed how much he wanted and loved
her.
