Reese's face blushed, and even though she felt a little uncomfortable, the sweetness in her heart could not be denied. She was,
after all, a little
embarrassed and shy. But the way that Lukas was treating her made her feel so happy and filled her with such warmth.
Once they were both seated, they began to eat. Lukas took it upon himself to serve Reese and said, "Baby, you need to eat
more. You're too skinny!"
Reese blushed slightly, "I'm not that skinny. I'm just right. Besides, girls want to lose weight these days. I'm neither too heavy nor
too thin; I eat a normal amount."
Lukas raised an eyebrow, "I don't agree. Last night, when I held you in my arms, I thought you were so slim. Your waist is so
delicate, I was afraid to hold you too tight."
This mention of last night made Reese blush even more and she gave Lukas a look. "Stop talking and eat."
Lukas smiled, "I'm just telling the truth."
Reese gave him a quick look and said, "The ideal weight for a girl should be less than a hundred pounds."

Lukas was quite frank, "Less than a hundred pounds? That is too skinny and unhealthy. A little heavier is better, and it's more
comfortable to hold."
Reese decided not to pursue this topic any further and took a bite out of her food. "Let's eat quickly. After I finish, I have to go
downstairs and work on the design. I still haven't finished the designs for the jewelry in next season's collection. I'm hoping to
have them shortlisted for the company's flagship jewelry line."
Seeing how committed she was, Lukas raised an eyebrow and said, "The final decision as to which of the designs will be used
for the main line of jewelry will be in my hands. If you want to be on the shortlist, you can have a go at bribing me. Maybe we can
skip the selection process of the company."
Reese looked up at him and raised an eyebrow. "How should I bribe you?"
Lukas' eyes twinkled and he smiled mischievously, "Kiss me."
Reese took a bite out of her green salad and said, "No, that's too difficult of a request. I think I'll stick to the collective selection
process of the company."

Lukas laughed and reached out to ruffle her hair, "I know that my baby values fairness and doesn't want to take any shortcuts.
But, since you're not kissing me, then I'll just have to take the initiative."

With that, he leaned forward and kissed Reese. She had just swallowed a bite of her food when Lukas stole a kiss from her. She
let out a few muffled protests but eventually gave in to his passionate advances.
When Lukas finally released Reese, her face was flushed. He couldn't resist pinching her cheek, "Why is your face so red?"
Reese blushed and glared at him, "Because you were so forceful!"
After she finished eating, she looked at Lukas and said, "I mentioned earlier that there aren't many shortcuts in life. Shortcuts
may work for this matter, but what about other things? In the future, when I go to international competitions, will there be
shortcuts? I don't want to make shortcuts a habit. Besides, didn't you say at the beginning that you wanted me to be the one to
take the initiative with the kiss? Why did you decide to jump on top of me by yourself?"
Seeing Reese's serious and somewhat angry expression, Lukas chuckled and answered seriously, "I had no other choice. If the
mountain won't come to me, then the only thing I can do is go to the mountain. Who allowed my baby to hold the title of the
CEO's wife, but hesitated to use the privileges?"
With a playful smile, he pinched a strand of Reese's hair and added, "But you are right. Once a person gets used to taking
shortcuts, it becomes difficult to be thorough in other matters. My baby makes me happy with her sense of fairness and integrity.
But there's only room in our family for one of us to be that way. As for me, I don't care about fairness and justice. I just do what I
want."
As Lukas spoke, he leaned forward and kissed Reese passionately.
Reese looked at him with a confused expression, "Are you sure you're not just making excuses for your villainous nature?"
Lukas chuckled and Reese could feel the vibrations from his chest.
