Chapter 269
Amara closed her eyes, looking so weak that she seemed to have fainted. The sight startled her.
"What happened to you?" she asked, shaking Liliana's shoulders gently, but there was no response. Annoyed, Amara felt a strong urge to curse.
Was Liliana really unconscious, or was she faking it to pull some kind of stunt? She had barged into Amara's dressing room out of nowhere and now
this.
Amara decided it was best to bring Cedric over to confirm. Together, they realized Liliana was truly out cold and immediately called 911.
Sitting on a bench outside the emergency room, Amara's face was unreadable. She didn't care much about Liliana's condition. In fact, if something
serious happened, she wouldn't be afraid.
Maybe it was because she wasn't as scared of Finnian anymore that she also felt indifferent towards Liliana.
"What did you do to my sister-in-law?" a sharp voice interrupted her thoughts. Hogan approached, his anger evident.
"My sister-in-law fainted in your dressing room. Did you hit her or say something to upset her?" he accused.
Amara stared him down coolly. "Hogan, if you've lost your mind, go get it checked. Don't take it out on me."
"What did you say?" Hogan's eyes widened in disbelief.
"Amara!" Hogan growled, "What kind of attitude is this?"
anything."
"What are you two doing?" another voice cut in. Amara turned to see Finnian striding towards them, his gaze shifting between Hogan and her, with a
slight frown.
"Hogan, what are you doing to Amara now?"
"Finnian!" Hogan protested, "It's this woman who upset Liliana, and now she has the nerve to argue back. Aren't you going to say something to her?
Why are you siding with her?"
"You're the one who's shameless! Hogan, if you can't speak properly, maybe it's time to learn!" Amara shot back before Finnian could speak.

Chapter 268
But now that she was no longer tied to the Everly family, and her feelings for Finnian were fading, she didn't bother holding back her words anymore.
