Richest Mogul

Chapter 1977

Chapter 1977
Joe and Skylar would keep her safe.
"Goodbye."
"May you have a peaceful life."
A moment later, Manfred watched as the seemingly ordinary copper mirror suddenly glowed.
In an instant, the light surged, wrapping around Vivian and her parents.
He tried to run toward her, but the barrier pushed him back. No matter how hard he fought, he couldn't get close.
Vivian stood between Skylar and Joe.
Her eyes were red, but she forced a bright smile, making it as radiant as she could. "Manfred, goodbye! Take care of yourself. I'll
always remember you! Always!"
Manfred's eyes burned red. He wanted to rush forward. A reckless thought filled his mind if only he could go with her, if only he
could follow her to the world she had spoken of so many times.

But every time he took a step forward, the mirror's glowing force shoved him back. The closer he tried to get, the further he was
pushed away.
"Vivian!"
For one final time, he threw himself forward.
The light flared, blinding him. He instinctively raised his arm to shield his eyes.
When he opened his eyes again, the glow that had blocked him earlier had vanished.
Vivian and her parents were gone without a trace.
"Vivian?"
He ran to where they had disappeared. But there was nothing.

Nothing except the copper mirror lying on the ground.
His face turned pale as he picked it up.
The copper mirror, now devoid of any light, appeared ordinary.
It looked nothing like the powerful artifact that had just taken Vivian and her parents away.
He looked at the mirror with a twisted smile, his expression bordering on madness. "If you're really that powerful, then take me

with them! What's the point of separating me from the one I love?"
But the copper mirror remained silent as if it had fallen into an eternal slumber.
"There's no one left in this world that matters to me anymore..." It was unclear how much time had passed when Manfred spoke
again, his face still expressionless. fo
Just then, something unexpected happened.
Suddenly, a few words appeared on the surface of the copper mirror.
"The moment of your greatest despair is when your wish will be fulfilled. May you always stay true to your heart."
The words appeared for a brief moment before quickly fading away.
It was as if they were nothing more than a hallucination.
"Remain true to your heart..." Manfred repeated the words under his breath, lost and dazed.
In the distance, Kemp and the others rushed toward him in panic.
"Mr. Atkinson, Mr. Atkinson, Mr. Holland Senior is gravely ill! They say he won't last much longer! Mr. Atkinson!"
Manfred's face turned even paler. He looked up at Kemp, his voice
sounding detached as if it werelnes
his own. "Return to Vlario
immediately."

Kemp scanned the surroundings. "Where is Ms. Martin?"
Manfred stiffened, his gaze darkening. "She's gone."
"Gone?"
