Rebirth of the Deadly Beauty

Chapter 584

Chapter 577
Just as Winnie was struggling with the situation, shouts suddenly rang out from the distance. "Is there a doctor? Doctor! Is
anyone here a doctor?"
They turned to see a middle-aged man running across the street while carrying a small boy in his arms. The man named Nathan
Parker seemed to have spotted the clinic's sign and was desperately running toward Yolanda.
"What happened?" Yolanda's face turned serious when she saw the ashen face of the boy in Nathan's arms.
Perhaps it was because of his panic or Yolanda's commanding presence, but Nathan immediately explained things. "I was taking
my son to the park when he suddenly collapsed!"
Right then, Dunstan heard the commotion and hurried out of the clinic. After observing the boy's symptoms, Yolanda suspected

poisoning.
"Doctor, you're a doctor, right?!" Seeing Dunstan, Nathan turned to him desperately as if finding a lifeline and ignored Yolanda.
"Please save my son! I'm begging you!"
"Quick, bring him into the clinic!" Dunstan urged.
"Wait!" Yolanda suddenly stopped Nathan. Pointing to a tiny wound on the boy's arm, she said, "Put him down carefully and don't
move him. He's been bitten by a poisonous spider!"
Though spider bites often resembled other insect bites, Yolanda could immediately identify which kind of spider had bitten the
boy just from the wound. Seeing Yolanda's certainty, Nathan carefully laid his son, Toby Parker, on the ground. "He got bitten by
a poisonous spider? Doctor, can you treat this?"
Before Yolanda could answer, Linda interrupted loudly from the side, "Why would you bring a spider bite victim to a traditional
medicine clinic?! Besides, she's not even a real doctor. She's just a middle school dropout who spent time in a juvenile detention
center!
"Whatever medical knowledge she has came from reading books in juvie!" Linda contemptuously pushed Yolanda aside and
made a show of examining the boy.

"Did you say she learned her medical skills from reading books in a juvie?" Nathan was stunned. Other patients who had come
out to see what was happening were equally shocked to hear about Yolanda's supposed past. They did not expect that at all.
"What nonsense are you spouting?" Dunstan snapped. "Ms. Henderson is our clinic's miracle doctor!"
"Miracle doctor? Hah! What did she give you to make you lie for her?" Linda dismissed Dunstan's words. She assumed Yolanda
had bribed the clinic staff to maintain her facade.
Then, she put on an air of authority and began lecturing Yolanda, "You went down the wrong path so young. I thought you might
have reformed after juvenile detention, but you're still worthless. And now you're even pretending to be a miracle doctor!
"Even if you picked up a few things working at this clinic, how could a child like you handle something as serious as a poisonous
spider bite?"
After that, Linda turned to Nathan and declared confidently, "I'm a nurse at Westside District Hospital. I can treat your son's
wound!"
She bent down to examine the boy's arm, then relaxed. She said, "Luckily for you,
this isn't a poisonous spider bite at all-just a regular insect bite. I'll clean the wound, and he'll be fine."
