Sandy... are you out of your mind? Do you even realize you just tossed Shane right into the lion's den!"
"How is it the lion's den?" Sandy shot back, growing more and more frustrated, though she couldn't say exactly why. The image of Sienna standing at the doorway in silky pajamas, looking every bit the lady of the house, welcoming Shane in-ugh, it made Sandy's stomach turn. A six-foot-tall guy leaning on Sienna's shoulder like that? Gross.
Her tone sharpened. "Aren't they, like, engaged or something? If Shane wasn't always pestering me, I wouldn't have Sienna in my face calling me a
homewrecker.
They're practically living together at this point. So yeah, I gave her back her man. Let the two cheaters have each other.
Just leave me out of their mess."
"You don't get it at all," Whitney snapped, nearly popping a vein in her forehead.
She wasn't about to waste time arguing. "Sandy, listen up! Shane is not living with Sienna. She probably saw you and put on a whole act.
Sienna's desperate to marry Shane, and Emma's pulling the strings behind the
scenes.
Sienna's cut from the same cloth as Florence.
You really think, with Shane not even liking her, Sienna isn't going to pull every dirty trick in the book? Tell me Shane's address-now! He's in real danger!"
"...Wait, what? That can't be right! He's a grown man... When I stopped by, it was just Sienna there no backup or anything. Oh, and his daughter was there too."
At the mention of his daughter, Sandy frowned.

Whitney didn't care about Sandy's rambling. She barked into the phone, "Text me Shane's address, now! And you're coming with me. This is serious Sandy. You're involved
whether you like it or not!"
"Whitney, what'd I do?" Sandy grumbled, but Whitney had already hung up, pinching the bridge of her nose in frustration.
She spun around and dashed back into Ludwik's hospital room, wasting no time. "Ludwik, get Felix to send over a few of his best guys. I need backup."
"What's going on?" he asked, looking up from the hospital bed, instantly sensing something was off.
"Shane's in trouble," Whitney said, her voice cold and sharp. "My grandmother put Sienna up to something, and with her backing, Sienna just waltzed right into
Shane's apartment.
Shane's wasted. He's basically a sitting duck.
By tomorrow, the Nelson family is in for a rude awakening."
Ludwik's face darkened, recalling the nasty tricks Florence had once
played on him. "Everyone in the
Sheldon family besides you lacks brain cell. No time for talk-get
going. Felix will meet you there with backup."
Whitney nodded, her eyes narrowing with resolve.
There was no way she'd let Sienna destroy Shane and Sandy's lives. They were meant for each other.
As for Sienna, it was high time someone put her ambition in check.
