Awake for Love: My Coma Bridegroom

Chapter 650

Brandon’s feet halted. His face was as somber as a stormy night, fists clenched tightly. Just as he was about to push open the door to the private
room, Melinda grabbed his arm. “Brandon! Don’t!”
Brandon gritted his teeth. “Why not?! I’m not just going to barge in there. I’m calling Elijah! He needs to see what kind of woman she really is!”
Melinda retorted, “And then what? What about the child in her belly? As far as I know, Elijah wants this baby. Let Violette give birth first. Then Elijah
can confront her.”
Melinda’s words forcibly cooled Brandon’s boiling rage. Right! There was a child involved! If not for the child, he would have left Violette without a
shred of dignity. The words she had just spoken were absolutely venomous! If Elijah heard, he might just kill her.
But now, for the sake of the unborn child, Brandon had to pretend he didn’t know. He couldn’t tell Elijah. If he told Elijah about this, Brandon could

easily imagine that the child might not have a chance to be born.
Melinda pulled Brandon away, quickly leaving the scene.
Upon leaving the hotel, Brandon’s anger was still simmering. He pulled out his phone, dialing Violette’s number. “Sorry, the user you are calling has
switched off the phone. Please try again later.”
“Damn it!” Brandon gripped his phone tightly. His gaze was full of resentment as he glared in the direction of the hotel. “I almost doubt what I heard!
How could Violette be like that? How?!”
He felt as if he had drunk too much and was experiencing auditory hallucinations. Otherwise, how could such a horrifying, absurd thing happen?
“Brandon, you didn’t mishear.” Melinda’s hand clung tightly to his arm, fearing that in his impulsiveness, he would rush back to the hotel. “I heard it
clearly. That was Violette’s voice. Violette said that Elijah couldn’t satisfy her in bed, so she...”
“Shut up! Melinda. It’s one thing for others to say it, but how could you?!” Brandon roared, flinging Melinda’s hand off him. “Go home! I need some
time to calm down!”
Before leaving, Melinda warned, “Brandon, don’t be rash. If Elijah loses this baby, he might never have another chance to have a child.”
Brandon scowled, “Melinda! I don’t need you to remind me! I know what I’m doing!” This was the first time Brandon had lost his temper with her.
After Melinda left, Brandon strode back into the hotel. He approached the front desk and asked, “Can you check if a lady named Violette was here
today?”
The receptionist seemed hesitant, “Sir, we can’t disclose our guests’ privacy.”

Brandon replied, “Here’s my business card. I am acquainted with your boss.” He handed his card to the receptionist.
After glancing at his card, the receptionist immediately checked for him.
“Mr. Fleming, Ms. Dennis was indeed in our hotel today.”
Hearing this, Brandon’s mood plummeted. “Violette, oh Violette, you really have some nerve!”
...
When Violette woke up, she found herself in a strange private room. Aside from her, there was no one else in the room.
Suddenly, she spotted Odette’s phone on the table. She immediately picked it up to check. Indeed, it was Odette’s phone!
How did Odette’s phone end up here?
