Awake for Love: My Coma Bridegroom

Chapter 646

She thought she was dreaming, because she clearly saw a soft glow surrounding him.
She approached him from behind and he suddenly turned around. She saw the deepness in his eyes and felt the warm radiance of his body. She
snapped back to reality. This was not a dream.
“Why are you out of bed?” He supported her arm. “Did I wake you?”
She shook her head. “I slept quite a bit last night. Sleeping too much makes me feel dizzy.”
“Should I accompany you for a walk?” He had asked the doctor, who told him that the baby was fine. Violette’s rapid heart rate and difficulty breathing
were mainly due to her anxiety.
As long as she calmed her emotions and ensured ample sleep, everything would be okay, but if she didn’t adjust soon, it could impact the baby.
Violette glanced out the window. It was a bright and sunny day. She nodded and they stepped out of the room together.
“Violette, the trouble your company is facing, it’s a minor issue.” They stepped out of the hospital. He carefully began, “Life can’t always be smooth

sailing, whether it’s personal or professional. It’s only through adversity that we can break free.”
She looked at him. “Are you trying to comfort me?”
“Your emotional resilience needs to improve.” Seeing that she was in a fairly good state of mind, he spoke directly, “Even if someone has taken your
core technology, even if they’ve made the money that you should have made, so what? It’s just a financial loss. Health always comes first.”
She nodded. “So when you were sick, you were drinking coffee, smoking, because you knew health comes first. If you didn’t understand the
importance of health, you’d probably have been downing antibiotics with whiskey!”
Elijah was speechless. It seemed he had been overly concerned. She didn’t need comforting at all.
“Hahaha!” She couldn’t resist laughing. “Your eyes are red. Did you skip sleeping again? If you had an EKG right now, I bet my hospital room would
be given to you.”
“I was worried you were overwhelmed, so I couldn’t sleep.” he explained. “But it seems you’re stronger than I thought.”
“I was admitted to the hospital not because I was overwhelmed. When the deputy chief called me, he was crying so hard. It gave me the impression
that the company was about to go bankrupt. A company bankruptcy isn’t the end of the world for me, but what about the loyal employees that I’ve
assembled? What if they can’t find jobs?”

Her insomnia was mainly due to this concern.
Elijah looked at her worried eyes and said, “It won’t get to that point. Tech companies mainly rely on core technology. Even though yours has been
stolen, you can upgrade and modify your existing tech.”
She nodded. “How did you catch the mole?”
“Under severe interrogation.”
“Oh.” She had guessed as much.
“Do you think I’m cruel?” He wanted to explain to her that in the face of evildoers, you had to be even more ruthless. Otherwise, people would walk all
over you. If it was not dealt with strictly this time, other employees might dare to betray the company out of personal gain or coercion.
Last night was a warning to all employees.
“You are indeed cruel.” Her words tightened his heart. “You’re not only cruel to others, but also to yourself. If you don’t sleep, your body will suffer.”
He was stunned.
“Go back and get some sleep now.” She held his hand, looking at him with her beautiful eyes. “I’m fine already. Barring any accidents, I should be
discharged tomorrow.”
“Then let me take you back to your room.” He held her hand in return.
“I want to get some fresh air. There are bodyguards with me. I’ll be safe.” She glanced at the bodyguard following them closely.
After Elijah left, she switched on her cell phone.
