Awake for Love: My Coma Bridegroom

Chapter 645

Elijah shot them a frosty glare. His lips were pressed into a thin line. Tonight, he was determined to root out the traitor!
The next morning, Violette woke up to find Mike’s face within her line of sight.
“Violette, you’re awake!” Mike adjusted her bed to a higher position, presenting a bowl of oatmeal in front of her. “Here, eat this first.”
She was still a little groggy, so she dazedly accepted the bowl.
“How are you feeling today?” Mike sat by her bedside, studying her face closely. “Something big happened at the company. Why didn’t you inform
me? Why did you come back alone? If anything happened to you, I would blame myself indefinitely.”
Violette immediately snapped back to reality. “You were completely drunk. How was I supposed to inform you?”

“Fair enough! I shouldn’t have tried to outdrink Elijah!” Mike sighed, “But we have to thank him this time. He helped us uncover the traitor.”
Violette’s eyelashes fluttered. She asked in a hoarse voice, “Who? Who betrayed us?”
“The tech department.” Mike hung his head. The tech department was under his management.
Violette furrowed her brows. “I asked who, not which department.”
“Everyone in the tech department.” Mike took a deep breath, gritting his teeth. “Those idiots, they messed around during a night out. Someone took
compromising photos of them. They were blackmailed into stealing the chip in exchange, so they collaborated and stole the chip.”
“Who did they give the chip to?!” She found it unbelievable yet had to face this harsh reality!
“They said they don’t know. The person wore a mask and used a voice changer, so they couldn’t identify him.”
Violette lost her appetite, handing the bowl back to Mike.
“Violette, eat something! Don’t starve yourself.” Mike said guiltily, “It’s all my fault. I trusted them too much.”
“I feel dizzy right now. I’ll eat later.” Violette laid back down, starting to strategize.
The person who took the chip was either Alexa or a competitor in the same industry. She believed that it wouldn’t be long before a company would
launch a new upgraded product, which would be a severe blow to the Dennis Group.

An hour later, Elijah arrived at the hospital to visit Violette. He had come at three in the morning, but she was sound asleep. Therefore, he left after a
brief glance.
It was now eight-thirty in the morning, so he had slept less than four hours. His eyes were bloodshot.
Lacey immediately informed him, “Violette just had breakfast. She said she was feeling dizzy and fell asleep again.”
He walked to her bedside, staring at Violette’s pale face. Her eyebrows were slightly furrowed. She was restless even in sleep.
His phone suddenly rang. He quickly answered the call, heading towards the balcony.
“Boss, I found out. The chip stolen from the Dennis Group is now in Alexa’s hands!” His subordinate’s voice came from the other end. “They’ve
successfully cracked the chip! So, retrieving it now would be pointless!”
In the hospital bed, Violette slowly opened her eyes. She stared at Elijah’s lean, muscular back, struggling to get up from the bed.
