A Perfect Lie Hides Behind My Billionaire Marriage (reese and hudson)

Chapter 477

He looked at Reese intently, "Baby, when can we sleep together?"
Reese's face turned red again and she got angry. "Lukas, you can't think of anything else. Didn't I say that we should follow the
normal process of falling in love?"
Lukas had a young smile on his face, "I was just talking about sleep. Where were you going?"
Reese was so angry that she wanted to bite someone. She glared at Lukas, "You did it on purpose!"
Lukas reached out and took her in his arms. When he smelled the faint scent on her body, he couldn't bear to let go of her. "Yes,
I did it on purpose. I didn't want to let you go. I just said I wanted to sleep with you." It's true, do you remember how, when we got
the marriage certificate for the first time, I just slept with you once, and then I came to your room alone in the night?
Reese's face was red with anger and shame. "Don't give me the words 'just sleep' again!"
Lukas smiled and nodded, "Okay, I will listen to you. After we went to bed that night, we had a fight and slept separately. At night,
he took the initiative to enter your room again. Do you remember?"
Reese looked at him, "Of course I remember. I almost thought you were a pervert then!"

Lukas chuckled and gave Reese a pinch on the cheek. "Baby, why are you so sweet? I... actually couldn't sleep at the time. I
always had insomnia, but when I smelled your scent, I fell asleep without even noticing, and it's even more effective than
sleeping pills!"
Reese's gaze shot up in surprise, her eyes fixed on Lukas' serious expression. "Is it really true?"
Lukas maintained his serious demeanor, his gaze unwavering. "We're more than a couple. There's no reason for me to deceive
you about something like that."
A hint of confusion clouded Reese's delicate features. "So, does that make it better?"
Lukas sighed, his gaze distant. "I've had trouble sleeping since I was about 20. But I've gotten used to it."
Reese's brow furrowed as she listened to him. "Why do I get the feeling you're deliberately trying to make me feel sorry for you?"
A playful gleam danced in Lukas' eyes. "I promise, I'm not trying to be pitiful. When it comes to sleeping, I really am pitiful. I just
want you to share my grief."

Reese's face flushed, her eyes gleaming. "Well then, we'll wait a little longer. It's not possible right now. Sleep or otherwise."
Lukas' heart swelled and he couldn't resist planting a tender kiss on Reese's forehead. His breath was warm against her skin.
"Sweetheart, I'm glad you feel that way about me. Don't worry, I won't make any advances. Go to bed; you have work tomorrow."

Reese nodded, her cheeks still flushed.
She turned gracefully and headed for the bedroom. Just as she reached the door, she glanced back and found Lukas still looking
at her with a loving gaze.
Reese pursed her lips and playfully scolded, "Stop loitering at the door and get some rest!"
Lukas chuckled softly and nodded. "Alright, you go ahead. I'll go back to the room."
Reese gave him a last look, then slipped into the room.
Inside, she lay down on the bed, the events of the evening seeming like a beautiful dream.
As she lay there, a small giggle escaped her lips. It was then that she realized how wonderful it was to be so loved by the person
she adored.
When Reese came down the stairs the next morning, she found Lukas already seated at the dining room table.
As she remembered the events of the previous night, there was still a flush of color on her cheeks. "You're up this early?"
Lukas cast an affectionate glance in her direction, his eyes crinkled with a smile on his face. "Well, I couldn't wait to see you."
Reese could feel her heart fluttering like a bird in a cage, ready to burst free at any moment. Lukas' newfound openness was a
far cry from his previous behavior.
She pouted playfully and, in an attempt to regain her composure, said to Lukas as she nibbled at her breakfast, her voice tinged
with shyness. "There's no need for that kind of talk, just be yourself as you always have been."
Lukas continued to enjoy what he'd eaten, never letting her out of his sight. He let out a soft chuckle. "I liked you before, but I
had to hide it. I deliberately feigned coldness and cruelty. Now that you know my true feelings, why should I hide anything?"
