An hour later, she was flushed as she let him dry her hair, trying to hide her annoyance while looking at him in the mirror.
Sebastian leaned in and teased, “What’s wrong, Stefi? Aren’t you happy?
Stephanie was shocked and thought, ‘How could I be happy? I’ve been serving you the whole time.
She felt like she might go crazy. Sebastian was quite annoying sometimes. With a loud sigh, she glared at him.
Sebastian smiled cheekily. “So, what now, Stefi?”
“Mom said we can’t have sex for the next three months,” Stephanie said firmly.
Sebastian took her hand and pulled her toward the bed. Fresh from the shower, his body felt warm. “What are you doing?” she
asked, surprised.
He gently placed her on the bed and quickly called Macro. On the phone, Macro answered sleepily, “What’s going on now?” Due
to the time difference, it was still daytime for Macro.
Sebastian asked, “Can I trust your medical expertise?”
“Yes.”
“Is it really impossible for a pregnant woman to have sex?”
At that moment, Macro stood in a vast desert, surrounded by endless dunes of sand. He felt desolate and downcast.
Looking down at the dwindling third of his water bottle, his thirst felt overwhelming, nearly leading him to dehydration.
Yet Sebastian seemed perfectly fine. In that instant, Macro’s irritation shifted into a sly grin. He answered, “Absolutely
impossible.”
A growl emerged from his stomach, which only added to his irritation. Everything was inconvenient here; eating, drinking, and
even sleeping were all difficult tasks.
Sebastian declared, “You shouldn’t come back for the next year.”
Macro yelled, “Sebastian, you-” but before he could finish, the call suddenly ended.
Macro felt a powerful urge to return and give Sebastian a proper beating. But that was impossible; he knew he wouldn’t stand a
chance.
send me here?‘
Fuming, he grabbed his phone and sent Stephanie a message: [Take the baby seriously. Don’t have sex.]
He wanted Sebastian to suffer together. Feeling it wasn’t enough, Macro sent another message: [It’s not allowed throughout the
entire pregnancy.]
Macro thought, ‘If you’re trying to make my life miserable, then I’ll make sure you can’t have sex. I can’t believe you’re putting me
through this; it’s driving me crazy.
“Dr. Vitale, it’s time to go.”

Chapter 342
“I’m coming.” Macro stood up from the sand, extremely thirsty. He reached for his water, craving a satisfying drink. But he
hesitated, sipping only a little. “How long until we reach the next stop?”
“About half a day. I’m sorry, Dr. Vitale. This detour has caused you quite a hassle.”
It wasn’t just that he had taken the wrong road; his three–hour journey had devolved into a long, grueling day. To make things
worse, the car had broken down halfway.
He didn’t dare to drink more water, fearing another unforeseen incident. Then his phone buzzed repeatedly, Pulling it from his
pocket, he saw that it was Elliot calling. At that moment, Macro’s anger was directed at anyone associated with Sebastian.
He answered with irritation, “Hello.” His long walk had ignited a fury inside him, and he hated Sebastian more than ever.
Elliot announced, “Mr. Giovanni mentioned you might need to stay there for two years.
“Damn it. He’s a monster.” Hearing the mention of two years made Macro nearly explode.
This was only a few days in, and he was already on the verge of madness; no showers, and his water was barely sustaining him.
His well–kept skin had darkened under the sun.
After just a few days, he was starting to peel, and a two–year sentence would surely be the end of him. Macro was so furious he
almost had a heart attack, exclaiming, “You might as well take my life!”
This was an experience worse than death.
Elliot replied, “Mr. Giovanni indicated that if you keep speaking so negatively, he might find it necessary to add more.”
Macro thought, ‘Is he truly hoping for my demise? That is too cruel. Mr. Giovanni is merciless. Though his thoughts were full of
curses, he knew better than to say them out loud.
Two years felt like murder. Macro gritted his teeth and said, “I understand
mistakes.”
Elliot continued, “Mr. Giovanni also said he saw the messages you sent to Ms. Giovanni.”
Macro thought, ‘She shared those messages with Sebastian? Those two truly showed an unusual closeness! Macro felt the urge
to bury himself in the sand.
Before he could say anything, Elliot pressed on, “Mr. Giovanni believes your apology this time will be pointless.”
Macro felt an overwhelming frustration. Before he could say another word, Elliot ended the call. Cradling his head in his hands,
Macro was engulfed by a sense of despair.
He was tempted to send Stephanie a few more messages, but he lost his courage. Under Sebastian’s firm control, Macro had
learned to submit.

Stephanie was just settling in when a maid arrived with Jesse. “Ms. Giovanni, Jesse is here to check your pulse.”
Stephanie, confused, replied, “I’m not sick.”
At that moment, Sebastian was gone, having stepped into the study to take a call. Jesse said, “Mr. Giovanni is worried,
especially after the party.”
She genuinely felt fine. However, if it could ease Sebastian’s mind, she would let Jesse continue. As Jesse measured her pulse,
Sebastian returned.
Jesse carefully checked Stephanie’s pulse and asked about various things concerning pregnant women. Afterward, she said,
“Mr. Giovanni, please don’t worry; Ms. Giovanni is healthy. Just make sure she is taken care of gently.”

Hearing Jesse’s words filled Stephanie with a strange sense of dread.
Sebastian nodded. “Thank you for your help.”
“Mr. Giovanni, you flatter me,” Jesse replied before leaving with the maid.
Leaning back against the bed, Stephanie looked at Sebastian, beginning to grasp Jesse’s words. Her face flushed bright red as
she shot him an angry glare.
Sebastian stepped closer, pulling her into his embrace, his voice dropping to a deep, suggestive whisper, “Did you miss me?”
She pushed against him. “Mom won’t allow you to do so.”
“None of your excuses will work now.” His tone was playful, but the smile on his lips had the sharpness of a hawk watching its
prey, leaving her feeling trapped.
