Under the heiress facade

Chapter 769

Chapter 769
Since Everly did not respond, Wayne turned to leave. "If there's nothing else, I'm leaving."
"No! Wayne, don't leave. You can't leave me like this!" Everly held him back and dropped to her knees before him. "I know I was
wrong! I really do! Please help me. I don't want to die."
Wayne was startled, not expecting that Everly would suddenly act this way. He tried to pull her up. "Get up."
Everly refused to get up, seeming remorseful as she continued, "I understand what I did was wrong. Mom and Dad entrusted me
to you, so you can't ignore me. Please save me."
"How do you want me to help you?" She was his biological younger sister, so he wasn't cruel enough to leave her behind.
Everly realized that there was hope and immediately said, "Give me some money, and I'll terminate the pregnancy. Afterward, I'll
go to a new place to heal my arm while turning over a new leaf."
The wound on her right arm had deteriorated as she hadn't been receiving any treatment. With the injury worsening, Everly
would have to get her arm amputated if she did not seek help.

Wayne also had the same idea. Everly was so young, so she shouldn't have to give birth and raise children on her own.
"Alright, I'll go with you," he answered. "I'll rent a house for you as well. After the abortion, you should rest for a month before
going back with me to the mountains to start a new life."
Everly shuddered at the thought of returning to the mountains. She had no intention of going back to that desolate place.
The gears in her mind began to turn. "Don't you have to work? I don't want to trouble you. I can handle it by myself as long as
you give me the money."
Wayne frowned. "Can you manage on your own?"
"Absolutely." Everly nodded vigorously. Since she no longer had a phone and couldn't receive any online transfers, Wayne went
to a nearby ATM to withdraw 20 grand for her. "Go ahead. I'll visit you after work."
Everly was slightly disdainful upon seeing so little cash. "This won't be enough, right?" Not only did Hera pay for Wayne's food
and accommodation, but she also paid him a salary of approximately eight to nine thousand dollars per month. Wayne was

usually rather thrifty and would save up the money. Everly was certain he could spare her more money. "How much do you
need?" Wayne asked with a frown.
"A hundred thousand dollars." Everly explained in a hurry after noticing the shock on

Wayne's face, "I want to go to a good hospital to treat my hand and recover at the same time.

Wayne remembered what happened in the past and said, "Go to the hospital first. I'll visit you after work and handle your medical
bills."
Everly wanted to object, but Wayne did not give her a chance. He led her out and hailed a cab
to take her to Reinland Hospital.
"Thank you, Wayne." Everly suddenly hugged him before getting into the car. "Thanks for not ignoring me."
Wayne was taken aback before patting her back. "There, there. As long as you're willing to turn over a new leaf, I'll never ignore
you. Go on."
As she watched Wayne fade away in the distance, the gratitude written all over her face earlier had turned into resentment. She
turned to look at the bank card in her hand with a smirk. That was right-she had lifted it from Wayne earlier.
After going past the traffic light, Everly said to the driver, "I don't want to go to Reinland Hospital anymore. Take me to the black
market."
"Sure," the driver replied.
Wayne returned to the clinic entrance and happened to see Samantha's car parked by the gate. Hera alighted from the car and
greeted Wayne upon seeing him.
He had been hesitating whether to share with Hera that Everly dropped by. Upon recalling how much trouble she had caused
Hera, he decided not to say a word about it.
