Chapter 8
Mia opened her misty eyes and returned to reality.
No hospital, no happiness, nothing...
Overhead the middle-aged woman stared at her coldly with a pair of gloomy eagle-like eyes sparkling with contempt and disdain.
Her mouth crooked weirdly; she was holding an empty plate in her hand.
She looked at Mia lying on the bed in embarrassing position, raised her hand and pointed to the table, “Eat and then take your medicine."
"Take my medicine?" Mia glanced down at the glass on the table with a white paper bag underneath.
After eating in the morning, she...
Being hot and unable to stop, and that man was doing all those things that made her blush just remembering that night, and she was shouting!
Medicine!
Mia’s face was pale, she didn’t care about wiping her tears anymore. She looked up at the middle-aged woman at forty-five degrees, asking a
question in her mind, "What medicine is that?"
The middle-aged woman was too lazy to care about her and just went away.
Mia shivered and wrapped herself with bedsheets, walked to the table, staring at the bag with medicines. Three minutes were enough for her and she
threw it away.
That guy, really disgusting, actually used drugs to trick her!
The woman suffered so many things, Mia felt like dying.
But the dream of being a doctor that she had been pursuing for so long was about to come true. How could she give it up now?
She worked so hard to get the chance to learn from such a great man.
Mia tried hard to force herself to eat something, as she needed strength to find a way to escape.
On the bedside table, there were still a few nightgowns that the middle-aged woman gave her yesterday. They were too small and too short to wear
them.
Mia thought for a while, and finally decided to run away wrapped in bedsheets.
She couldn’t get out from the window, and the door was closed. Except for William, only middle-aged women will come to open the door.
Mia was confused, she knew the woman would come to clean up the table. She planned to wait for the middle-aged woman to open the door and
rush out.
Once outside the door, she could shout for help and ask someone to call the police.
She lied back on the bed, quietly waiting for her chance, and her dark-jeweled eyes were looking at the door. She was silently encouraging herself.
Half an hour later, the door was finally opened, revealing the gloomy face of the middle-aged woman.
The woman looked at the table and saw the white paper bag left untouched. She raised her eyebrows sharply and hurried forward, "Why didn’t you
take your medicine!"
Angry, she forgot to close the door, giving Mia a great opportunity.
She jumped out of bed and went straight to the door, pulling it with both hands. Finally, she opened the door and ran out.
Wrapped in bedsheets, she could not run fast, and the middle-aged woman quickly caught up with her.
Mia opened her mouth and shouted, "Help, help!"
Surely, several people rushed out from all directions, all in black.
Without thinking, Mia ran towards one of the men in black and grabbed his arm, "Help me!"
Turns out, they all were...
Mia’s escape plan failed at this point, two men in black put her in front of the middle-aged woman.
The middle-aged woman raised her hand fiercely. The fierce light in her eyes clearly showed that she wanted to beat her.

Mia closed his eyes instinctively, someone force opened her mouth and put some bitter powder inside.
When she realized what she had taken, she spit hard, hoping to spit out the powder.
The woman didn't give her a chance and pinched her mouth until the powder melted and slipped into her throat.
After being sent back to her room, perhaps by the effects of drugs, Mia felt drowsy and closed her eyes. All the sounds became distant and unreal.
Something was going on in the room. The voice came and went. She felt slender fingers of a woman pointing across her face, “This face really looks
alike.”
“This means the president has a deep affection for Mrs. Brown.”
“Keep an eye on her and send her away as soon as the time comes."
“Yes.”
“Peel an apple for me.”
“Ok.”
“...”
