"That's this brand's limited-edition doll for the year! It's super popular! I wanted to buy one but couldn't get it, and now it's marked up at double the price."
Their conversation faded as they walked away, and the organizer's face lit up.
"Mr. Morgan, don't worry. Your wife will definitely love this doll. It's also my way of wishing you a happy marriage."

The organizer beamed with joy as though he had received the gift himself.
When Kieran returned to Evergreen Heights, the sky had just begun to darken. The lights in the living room were on, indicating that Lila had already come home.
He stepped out of the car, walked a few steps, then turned back. He grabbed the doll box before heading into the house.
Lila was sitting cross-legged on the sofa, engrossed in a game. Lately, she had been obsessed with a building game on her phone, arranging little ancient-style houses with elegant designs.
She noticed Kieran approaching and smiled. "Have you had dinner yet?"
"Not yet."
He had come back specifically to have dinner with her.
"Well, good. Carol made something before she left, and I've been waiting for you to come back so we can eat together."
Although she usually waited for him to eat, today was their first dinner after marriage.
For a moment, it felt like they had been married for years, and this simple, peaceful, sweet time together was their new normal.
"What's this?" Lila put down her phone and noticed the beautiful box in his hand. "Open it and see."

She curiously took it from him, and her eyes lit up.
Seeing her reaction, Kieran's lips curved slightly, silently praising the organizer for sending the doll.
Lila was delighted as she held it. "Uncle Kieran, where did you get such a beautiful and cute doll? I saw this before, and it looked like a limited edition. How did you get your hands on it?"
Kieran answered honestly, "A brand sent it today as a gift, wishing us a happy marriage."
His tone was as calm as usual.
But Lila felt confused. She could understand each word, but they didn't make sense together.

She stiffened and turned her head. "I'm hungry. Let's eat first."
She quickly put the doll back in the box.
"You don't like it?" Kieran glanced at her as she moved.
