Cole glanced at the organizer, relieved to see he still had some sense.
He then looked at Kieran. If the organizer had been any later, this event might not have gone on at all.
But it was surprising that Kieran had put up with this woman for so long.
It seemed it was still Lila's reputation that mattered most.
Cole smirked, thinking that the next time Kieran got angry, mentioning Lila's name should do the trick.
Yelena was confused by all the scolding. She looked up at Kieran, her eyes starting to redden.
She had expected to win his sympathy, but to her surprise, he didn't even glance
her way.
His cold eyes shifted to the organizer. "Take care of this properly."
That was the first thing Yelena had heard him say today.
But what did it mean?
The organizer quickly nodded. "Don't worry, Mr. Morgan. As an apology, we'll provide you with a gift. You can take it back to Mrs. Morgan. She'll like it."
He wasn't foolish. Given Kieran's status, what could such a small token possibly mean to him? But he understood the importance of catering to someone's preferences.
Yelena didn't recognize Kieran's ring, but the organizer did.

Even though the wedding hadn't been officially announced, the ring on his finger made it obvious what that meant.
Sure enough, Kieran's expression softened slightly, and he said nothing further.
The organizer let out a quiet sigh of relief.
That was close. Luckily, he had made the right call.
He turned to Yelena, his expression now cold. "Miss, please leave the venue."
Yelena was stunned. She could accept being told to leave Kieran alone, but why was she being kicked out entirely?
