Chapter 2689
That was when Frank flew and landed on the ground, further proving The Vulture's theory.
Sure, the apprentices of Princely Sword School were strong, their abilities the stuff of novels and still controllable.
However, Frank was like an elephant to their ant, possessing an almost divine might to bend the world to his will-something that the apprentices of Princely Sword School would never measure up to.
Knowing that he was going to die, The Vulture tried to free himself and escape but could not!
That left The Vulture even more shocked, realizing that Frank was even more deserving of the flattery that he had just showered him with.
After all, Frank was still keeping him restrained while fighting every apprentice of Princely Sword School!
Unable to do anything, he soon came up with an idea and turned toward Janice. "Hey, kid. Please help me out here-free me. See, everyone makes mistakes, and I know that I did now. You should give me a chance to atone."
The Vulture had presumed that Janice was young and naive, so she would definitely be swayed.
To his surprise, Janice was not the girl he thought she was, even smirking at him. "A chance to atone? If I did let you go, and one day we find each other in this exact situation but with reversed roles, would you give me a chance?
"Hell, did you give your other victims a chance in the past?"
The Vulture paled, surprised by the young girl's surprisingly ruthless nature.
What on earth did Frank do to keep them in line?
Meanwhile, Frank walked up to Massam, whose body had aged to the point of shriveling, standing tall and looking down on her.
Seeing how youthful Frank remained, Massam was too terrified to even make a sound, even as she truly realized how huge the gap between them was!
It was like a firefly's glow against the sun's brilliance-they were simply no match for him!
"I've lost, and I won't argue my case!" she eventually exclaimed. "However, even if I know my doom is at hand, and I don't hold out much hope, I still want to ask you a question
"Ask away," Frank said coolly.
"How did you gain such incredible powers?"
She was going to die anyway, so Frank was all too happy to answer. "I'll be honest-my power comes from the spiritron vein. It chose me, and that's why I easily defeated you."
Massam laughed out loud, seemingly relieved. "I see! And here I thought lacked critical knowledge and was ignorant... but as it turns out, you're just too lucky. While I'm dying anyway, I can now be at peace too."
However, that ignited something in Frank. "Are you suggesting that I wouldn't win against you without the spiritron vein?"
Massam smirked and nodded. "You're a small fry without it. There's nothing to fear!"
Frank smiled, nodding. "It seems that words are pointless against people like you, only reality."
With a wave of his hand, a blue glow shrouded Massam's gaze.
Soon, her skin and frame was visibly recovering, and even her white hair was now a healthy black!
