Chapter 33 Desperate Search
Harriet’s heart was in her throat, and tears welled up in her eyes.
She was consumed by an overwhelming desire to see Delbert, her
beloved man.
She yearned to catch a glimpse of him, even if it was just for a moment, to reassure herself that he was still by her side and that
she could make it up to him.
‘Where did he go early in the morning?’ She wondered.
Desperate to find Delbert, she leaped out of bed and scoured every
corner of the villa on bare feet.
But he was nowhere to be found.
Delbert didn’t want her anymore.
