Fiancee In Line
Feeling quite frustrated due to what happened, Corynn barely touched her food, which had been delivered to her desk. Instead,
she immersed herself in her computer as she continued to scout the internet for potential
business partners.
Gritting her teeth, she couldn’t help but wonder how long it would take for her to find a solution.
At that moment, her phone began to ring.
Without, hesitation, she grabbed the phone and picked up the call, hoping that it was a supplier who had changed his mind.
However, when she heard the voice from the other end, she instantly frowned and clenched her fist.
“Hear me out, Corynn. You know very well that I can help you,” Elliot said from the other end.
Corynn couldn’t quite believe her ears. Did this bastard just say that he can help her out?
Who the hell did he think he was? Harper Group wouldn’t be in this deep mess if not because of him!
When this thought crossed her mind, Corynn got even angrier and her breathing became rapid. “Well, Mr. Andrews, if you really
desire to help, then perhaps you should chain your fiancee down so that she won’t be able to behave like the mad dog that she
is, biting everyone in sight!”
With that, Corynn hung up the call without giving Elliot the chance to say anything else and slammed the phone on the desk.
Knowing very well that Amanda would simply intensify her attacks on Harper Group if Elliot should help, Corynn was determined
not to accept any form of help from him. What was more, she wanted to have nothing to do with him whatsoever.
As she lowered her eyes to continue her work on the computer, her phone began to ring again.
It was none other than Elliot still.

With a grunt, Corynn picked up the phone, rejected the call, blacklisted the number, and switched off her phone before tossing it
aside. All she wanted was peace.
Meanwhile, on the top floor of Andrews Group. With his lips pressed into a tight line, Elliot listened as his cell provider informed
him that he had been barred from calling Corynn’s number. Even after offering to help, she was still refusing to have anything to
do with him.

But then, knowing that she had simply acted in a way that went along with her stubborn nature, Elliot wasn’t that much surprised.
In fact, he would have actually been taken aback if she accepted his help without
hesitation.

Well, if she believed that she didn’t need his help, then there was no need for him to interfere. However, he
was determined to keep the Harper family from going bankrupt.
Without hesitation, Elliot summoned Kaden and instructed him to monitor Harper Group and inform him the
moment he noticed any sudden or inexplicable incidents.
Puzzled, Kaden couldn’t help but wonder why Elliot had suddenly become concerned about Corynn. Had his
view of her undergone a change?
However, Kaden knew better than to voice these thoughts and kept his mouth shut.
As he turned around and was about to leave the office, Elliot called him back and said, “The latest season’s

brand jewelry and clothes, have them delivered to Amanda.”
Elliot was doing this because he believed that Amanda’s actions against Corynn were partially his responsibility.
“I’ll see to it that it’s done, sir,” Kaden replied and left.
That afternoon, Kaden, together with some people, arrived at Willis Mansion.
At that moment, Amanda was having a swim in the pool on the second floor, while Daniela lay under a nearby umbrella, casually
sipping juice.
Looking up, Daniela saw that there were a couple of people standing outside the gate. Sitting up, she lowered
her sunglasses and saw that Kaden was among them.
Standing up, she looked at Amanda and said, “Kaden is outside the gate, Amanda.”
Hearing this, Amanda dived into the water, leaving ripples and bubbles on the surface.
About a minute later, she emerged close to the railing, gripped it, and climbed out of the pool.

Daniela quickly handed her a towel and robe, saying, “He came bearing gifts, which I believe to be from Elliot.”
Amanda shrugged as she dried her hair and said casually, “I’m not surprised that he would do that. However,
he might have sent them just because of Corynn.”
She then glanced at a maid and told her to open the gate.
Daniela shook her head and said firmly, “There’s no way that’s the case. If he wanted to send you gifts because of Corynn, he
wouldn’t have waited so long. He would have sent them days ago.”
Hearing this, Amanda simply pursed her lips and watched Kaden and his team enter the mansion.
Daniela sighed softly and continued, “You’re simply worrying too much, Amanda. I’m pretty sure he sent you these gifts because
your birthday is coming up next week.”
Finding Daniela’s reasoning to be quite convincing, Amanda nodded slowly and said, “Well, let’s go and have a look.”

After Kaden followed the maid into the living room, he turned toward his team and directed them to start unpacking the gifts.
At that moment, Amanda, who had changed clothes, walked into the room with Daniela.
Seeing her, Kaden said, “Miss Willis, Mr. Andrews instructed me to have these latest brand jewelry for the

Seeing the range of jewelry that the men had brought, Daniela’s eyes widened in shock.
Amanda’s eyes glanced through the items repeatedly until they stopped on a diamond necklace. Picking it up, Amanda looked at
Kaden and asked, “Did he ask you to deliver any message to me?”
Kaden nodded and replied, “Mr. Andrews told me to ask if you liked them. If you don’t, he is going to send
another batch.”
Amanda shook her head and finally smiled when she heard this. “There’s no need for another batch. Tell him
that I like these ones a lot.”
“As you wish,” Kaden replied with a slight bow.
Amanda nodded slightly and returned her gaze to the other gifts.
Kaden cleared his throat and added, “Also, Mr. Andrews would like you to know that he hasn’t forgotten your
birthday.”
