Richest Mogul

Chapter 1971

Chapter 1971
If it hadn't been for hearing Vivian's voice tonight, they would have probably left Graystone the next day.
Over the past few days, they had discovered someone was secretly monitoring their every move. They were not from this time
and didn't want to attract attention or be watched.
To their surprise, Vivian sent them news just the day before they were about to leave Graystone.
It was as if fate had intervened.
Skylar agreed with Joe's decision. "Vivian said she's coming to find us, so she must know we're in Graystone. Although we're not
sure if she learned about us through Manfred, we can wait a little longer."
The thought of seeing their daughter after so many years stirred up both excitement and complex emotions in Skylar.
"But how did Vivian end up here?" Joe calmed down after his initial excitement.
Skylar furrowed her brow and shook her head, her expression serious. "Until we see Vivian in person, it's hard to guess. I can't
figure it out either."
"Could it be the copper mirror we've been searching for? Maybe Vivian was able to find us because of the copper mirror?" Joe
speculated.

Skylar nodded slightly. "That's possible."
They had tried every method they could think of over the years to find the copper mirror after realizing it could bring them home,
but all their efforts had been in vain.
Although many people had brought various copper mirrors to them, none of them were the ones they needed. Perhaps the mirror
they had been desperately searching for was now in Vivian's hands.
"There's only a couple of hours before dawn. Let's go back to sleep. Things will sort themselves out. We'll know the answer soon
enough," Joe said calmly.
Skylar smiled and nodded again. "Alright, let's sleep."

After Vivian carefully packed the copper mirror back into her bag, she didn't return to bed.
She had lost all sense of sleepiness.
First, she had seen Viola and then her parents. There was no way she could settle her mind now.
She knew that once she arrived in Graystone tomorrow, some things would finally be settled.
She and Manfred... they would never meet again.
Thinking about this, Vivian felt a sharp pain in her chest. The pain was so intense that it made it hard to breathe.
"I'm sorry, Manfred. I love you, but I can't give up everything to stay."
She whispered, "I'm sorry."

She knew Manfred loved her too.
Otherwise, he wouldn't have toldet
everyone she was his fiancée, nor would he have remained alone all these years.
She had always known. She just never wanted to face it.
Two hours later, the first light of dawn crept over the horizon.
As the golden rays slipped into the inn, Manfred opened his eyes. He had ju sat up when he suddenly noticed a figure standing
by the window.
An elderly woman with silver hair.
He had seen her many times before.
"It's you," he said in a low voice.
"You're arriving in Graystone today. Have you made up your mind?" Viola didn't
turn around, but she already knew he was awake.

Manfred's chest tightened at her words.
She waited for a moment, but when he didn't answer, she finally turned to look at him.
A warm, gentle smile graced her face. "Follow your heart. Don't think about the consequences. Just tell me do you want her to
stay?"
These words were too tempting.
No need to worry about any consequences-just follow his heart.
Manfred felt his heartbeat quickening, growing out of control. Even his breathing seemed to stop as he clearly heard the sound of
his own heartbeat.
