Perhaps it was Yolanda's commanding presence, but the chaotic crowd actually fell silent.
Stunned, they watched as Yolanda strained out the herbal dregs from the medicinal soup and applied them to Toby's wound.
When they finally came to their senses and moved to stop her, Dunstan stepped forward to hold Nathan back.
"This is our clinic's miracle doctor! If you want your son to live, stop interfering!" "But she just said..." Nathan glanced at Yolanda
with eyes full of doubt.
"So, you'll believe some stranger's words but not our own clinic staff?" Dunstan scoffed, gesturing to the onlooking patients. "Ask
them-they've all been treated here before!"

As soon as Dunstan finished, murmurs of agreement rose from the crowd.
Though they did not understand Linda's claims about Yolanda's being in juvenile detention, many had personally witnessed
Yolanda treating patients at the clinic. Some had even been cured by her medicines.
Besides, the clinic's prices were reasonable since they did not care about profits. So, the patients naturally sided with Yolanda.
"That's right! Ms. Henderson is a miracle doctor!"
"She cured my gastroenteritis!"
"Her acupuncture technique is amazing!"
The testimonials from the crowd made Toby's family less resistant to Yolanda's treatment. But they still watched her like hawks,
ready to pounce at the slightest mistake.
Yolanda ignored the commotion around her. After applying the herbal dregs to Toby's wound, she took out her silver needles and
inserted one into an acupoint at the base of his thumb.
Moments later, Toby's eyes flew open, and he vomited blood again. But this time, the blood was black.
"Toby!"
"Son!" Nathan started forward in alarm. He was ready to confront Yolanda when he heard Toby speak.

"Dad... it hurts..." Though weak, Toby had regained consciousness.
Dunstan quickly explained, "The black blood means the poison has been expelled!"
Just then, Daniel's two assistants came running up breathlessly. One of them was carrying a palm-sized medicine jar. "Ms.
Henderson, we found it!"
Yolanda removed the needle and looked up at them. "Give it here."
While preparing the medicine in the clinic earlier, she had sent Daniel's men to search the nearby park for the spider. She had
not been too hopeful, but they had actually succeeded.
"This is a Septagram Spider. It's highly venomous." Yolanda opened the jar in front of everyone and revealed the spider inside.
Worried they might get bitten themselves, she had given the men antidote pills before they left to search for the spider.
She did not plan to let the crowd gather too close either, so she quickly pierced the spider's body with a silver needle before it
could crawl out. Then, she extracted the needle and applied the brown liquid from it to Toby's wound.
"Didn't you say this spider was poisonous?" Nathan instinctively moved to stop her.
