Ethan remained calm. “Ms. Nelson went through the standard interview process and worked her way up to become a purser. If
you have any doubts, you can check her interview results on our website.”
His response was composed, showing no sign of being intimidated by Victoria’s anger.
He felt relieved that she mentioned Chloe instead of Lucy, who had also taken a shortcut to get hired.
It was unclear whether Victoria had forgotten about Lucy or simply chose to ignore her, but she couldn’t continue the
conversation and glared at Ethan with resentment.
Unfazed, Ethan called in the security guards to help Victoria’s relative move all of his belongings outside.
They were unceremoniously dumped, leaving Victoria and her relative humiliated.
After finishing this task, Ethan had the technology team reset the villa’s security system, adding a new alarm that would trigger if
anyone without Michael’s fingerprint tried to enter.
The police would arrive within ten minutes if the alarm went off.
This way, even if Ethan left, he wouldn’t have to worry about

Victoria trying to sneak her relative back inside.
Once everything was secured, Ethan turned to the still–fuming Victoria and said, “I’ll take my leave now. Goodbye, Mrs. Shawn.”
After he left, Victoria stared at the locked villa door, gritting her

teeth in frustration.
“I told you to keep a low profile here! Now, you can go stay at a hotel!” she yelled, venting her anger.
Feeling unsettled, she picked up her phone and called her husband, Harvey, who was having dinner at home.
Seeing Victoria’s name on his phone made him frown in
annoyance.
When he answered, he was met with Victoria’s complaints.
“Honey, your brother was kicked out of the villa by Michael, and now Cathy can’t get into Paramount Airlines because of him. Are
you going to do something about it?”
Harvey fell silent upon hearing this.
Victoria knew he had little influence at the Swift family home, but she felt he needed to speak up to regain some power.
“Honey, say something! Don’t you care about your own daughter?”

Her words struck a nerve with Harvey.

“If you’re going to put it that way, then come home. We can go file for divorce, and from now on, you and your daughter will have
nothing to do with my family.”
Victoria was taken aback by his sudden mention of divorce.
“What are you talking about? You want to divorce me? Are you crazy?”
Harvey stood up abruptly from the sofa. “Crazy? You’re the one who’s lost it! I’ve been supporting someone else’s daughter all
these years, and you’ve kept me in the dark!”
Confused, Victoria retorted, “What do you mean someone else’s daughter? Harvey, do you even know what you’re saying? Have
you been drinking?”

Earlier at Shawn Manor, Harvey had always been submissive, promising to be devoted to her.
Now, he was claiming that Cathy wasn’t his daughter.
“I’ve seen the paternity results, how long do you plan to keep lying to me? Victoria, I’m officially telling you that our relationship is
over. We need to find a time to file for divorce.”
Victoria had always thought of Harvey as useless, someone without any standing in the Swift family or even in the Shawn family.

However, she had given birth to Cathy and had hoped to make things work.
She had never done anything to betray Harvey, yet now he was claiming that the child wasn’t his.
If the child wasn’t his, then whose could it possibly be?

The man was drenched, with water droplets from his hair dripping onto her collarbone, carrying a searing
heat.
His crimson eyes burned with almost insane desire as if he were about to devour her completely.
“Alexander...”
Olivia could hardly believe her eyes.
She had been run over and killed by James, so how was she back in this familiar room?
One kiss after another interrupted Olivia’s confused thoughts.

Remembering Alexander’s coldness towards her in her past life, Olivia instinctively began to struggle, but Alexander immediately
restrained her limbs, leaving no chance for escape.
The sharp pain of being bitten on her lips and the diminishing air in her chest...

Just when Olivia was about to suffocate, Alexander suddenly pushed her away.
With red stains on his lips, Alexander methodically buttoned up his shirt, one button at a time, until the last one at his neck.
In the span of a second, he had transformed from a wild, frantic presence to a cold, emotionless figure, surrounded by an icy
chill.
Having finished buttoning his shirt, Alexander looked down at her blankly and said, “Olivia, did you think I would ever touch you?”
Alexander! Why? If you didn’t love me, why marry me? Why would you never touch me? Why, after so long, did you still loathe
me? Even my love was constantly trampled upon!
This desperate scream suddenly appeared in Olivia’s mind.
Olivia snapped awake.
She finally remembered.
Four years ago, she had just been married to Alexander for six months, but he refused to come near her at all. She tried every
possible way to please him, but he remained indifferent.
In the end, under the encouragement of her sister Amelia, she lost all her dignity and drugged his drink, only to find that despite
the high dosage, Alexander still refrained from touching her.
“Olivia, if there’s a next time, you’re out of here.”
With a bang, the door was slammed shut.
Olivia, covered in bruises, sat on the bed, stunned.
She had been reborn?

Olivia took a deep breath. Looking at herself, who had just been ruthlessly discarded by the man, she felt an unusual sense of
relief.
*Alexander, I should thank you for letting me go!”

In her previous life, during the four of marriage to Alexander, she had devoted herself to winning his acceptance, sacrificing her
acting carcer, cutting off all her friends, and neglecting the grandmother who raised her.
It wasn’t until her grandmother passed away and she couldn’t reach Alexander by phone that she truly realized that her four
years of deep affection couldn’t melt Alexander’s heart!
Her marriage to Alexander had always been a transaction. He chose to comply to stabilize his ailing grandfather, while she only
needed to play the role of a wife while his grandfather was still alive.
Only she, stubbornly believing that being good to him would make him reciprocate.
Now, having let go of her obsession with Alexander, Olivia only wanted to live freely again. As long as she was away from
Alexander, she could embrace a new life.
Since heaven had given her a chance to live again, she would not repeat the same mistakes!
To hell with Alexander and love! Let them go to hell!
