Pregnant and Favored: See You in the Morning, Young Master

Chapter 54

When she opened the door, an elegant and sophisticated gentleman stood at the door. He was wearing a white shirt and black suit pants. He gave off
a sense of maturity and stability through his elegance.
“Chairman... Chairman Talton? Why are you here?” Xavia could not hide her surprise in the tone of her voice.
Stefan looked at her with a deep expression in his eyes.
She had just taken a shower. Her hair was damp and randomly scattered. She had extremely pale skin, and the dark eyes on her delicate oval face
looked very clear and dazzling. It almost felt as if he had fallen into the starlight. She looked very quick-witted and beautiful.
It was her.
“Miss Xavia Lockhart, aren’t you going to invite me inside to take a seat?”
Uhm...He knew her identity!
Xavia was a little shocked and embarrassed as she took a step back and said, “Chairman Talton, please come in.”
Stefan smiled as he walked into the house gracefully and elegantly.
The house was a single apartment, and it was decorated in pink. It was very modern and fashionable and full of a maiden’s heart.
He sat down on the sofa in a very noble and natural manner.
Xavia was embarrassed, so she lowered her head as she walked over to him.
“Chairman Talton, I am really sorry about what happened before. You mistook me for my elder sister, and you already set the time for the meet up,
but we could not contact my elder sister at that time. That was the reason why I took her place and went to meet you instead. This was all my own

idea, and it has nothing to do with the collaboration. When I met you at the bar after that, I actually had the opportunity to confess to my mistake, but I
was busy at that time and did not bother to explain it to you. So please do not blame me for it.”
Her voice sounded very sincere, and she seemed like a serious person. She looked like a child who had done something wrong.
Stefan actually smiled and said, “Do I look very scary? Like a strict parent?”
“Huh? No, no! Chairman Talton, you are very gentle and warm, friendly and approachable,” Xavia replied sincerely.
Stefan frowned. She was being so respectful when she addressed him. So, how could she possibly not find him scary then?

He then said helplessly, “You don’t need to be so cautious with me. I’m not angry. However, you said you would treat me to a meal the last time only
to leave in such a hurry. So, you should treat me to another meal again tonight, okay?”
Xavia heaved a sigh of relief, and she hurriedly nodded, “Sure! No problem! By the way, I’ve some groceries at home. Would you mind if I cook the
dishes for you myself?” She felt that her life-saving benefactor was very great, and she could only sincerely thank him by personally preparing the
dishes for him. Moreover, if a wealthy and powerful figure like him were to eat a Western meal that costs tens of thousands of dollars, she would not
be able to afford to pay for it...
Stefan did not have any opinion about that and he hummed in response.
“Please sit down and watch television or something for now. I’ll go and prepare it right away. It will be ready in a moment.” Xavia ran into the kitchen
happily. She tied up her hair, put on her apron, and began rummaging through the groceries in the refrigerator.
Dolly had been preparing fresh ingredients for her in the refrigerator for the past few days. There were shrimps, fish, meat, and Dolly was treating her
as though she was in confinement after giving birth as there were many ingredients.
Xavia took out the ingredients and cleaned them one by one before she began cooking.
She completed cooking three dishes and one soup half an hour later.
There was bean curd and crucian carp soup that was as white as milk, fragrant and spicy shrimps cooked in a pot, tender fried meat with ginger, and

fresh and green sauteed vegetables. Each of these dishes had a beautiful color, and they were all extremely fragrant. Although these dishes were
very common and ordinary, they were all filled with the warmth of a home.
Countless people had treated Stefan to a meal before, and he was always feasting at banquets and eating all kinds of delicacies. This was the first
time that someone had treated him to such a simple and down-to-earth meal.
He felt a little moved.
Xavia frowned when she saw that he was silent. “What’s wrong? Are they not to your liking? Shall I bring you out and treat you to a meal outside
instead?”
Xavia untied her apron as she prepared to go and change her clothes.
Stefan grabbed her wrist and smiled warmly as he said gently, “No. You’re very outstanding. It’s just that I haven’t eaten a home-cooked meal in a
very long time, and I was a little moved and surprised. Sit down. Thank you for the trouble.”
He pulled a chair out elegantly and gentlemanly.

Xavia heaved a sigh of relief. She thought that he did not like her cooking.
Just as she was about to speak, the doorbell rang again.
She said, “You can take a seat first. I’ll go get the door.”
“Mhm.” Stefan hummed gently.
Xavia walked over and opened the door. Right then, she was instantly taken aback!
The nobleman standing outside the door was...
Zivon!
