Chapter 31
Villa.
It was all silent. The lights shone brightly outside the window and the water from the fountain was flowing. The night scenery was extremely beautiful and quiet.
A small figure was sitting next to a big figure on the simple and yet luxurious modern style sofa. The big figure was cold and noble with a very powerful aura, while the small figure was very cool and adorable with a worried expression on his small face.
"Daddy, why isn't Aunt back yet? Could it be that she had ran into some bad guys on the way?" Maison could not help but speak up. Ever since he started living with Xavia, Maison had become very reliant on Xavia and it also seemed as though he had turned into a little chatterbox.
"Lately there is news about girls being dismembered. Aunt is very beautiful, so I'm positive that she will certainly be targeted by bad people."
Zivon had never seen his child being so worried about others and talking so much. So he raised his eyebrows and said, "When have you ever shown so much concern for your daddy?"
Maison said coldly, "You can even kill ten wolves on your own, so what's there for me to be concerned about? Daddy, do you want to call her? If you don't call her, I will start crying out of worry." The consequences of him crying would be very serious.
Zivon raised his brows. This little brat. He was actually threatening him because of that woman! Was he really his biological son or that woman's?
Zivon had a cold expression on his face as he gazed nobly at Nathan, who was at a corner, and instructed him to make the call.
Nathan received the order and he took out his cell phone as he was about to make the call.
"Ding dong" The doorbell rang.
Nathan walked over to open the door and he was slightly startled when he saw the woman standing outside the door. "Miss Lockhart, the little master was just worried about you. He wanted us to call you."
As soon as Maison heard that Xavia was back, he immediately ran over from the sofa, "Aunt, you're back..."
Before he could even finish his sentence, the expression on his small face changed as he said, "It's not Aunt."
Not Xavia? Then this was Jenna!
Nathan felt very embarrassed. He bowed his head and apologized, "I'm sorry, future young mistress. It's true that you really do look exactly the same like your younger sister, Miss Lockhart. So that is the reason why I recognized the wrong person. I'm really sorry."
Jenna was surprised. Maison and Nathan actually thought that she was Xavia? So could it be that Maison was rushing over here with great enthusiasm to greet Xavia just now?
That damn woman. She kept saying that she didn't care, but instead, Xavia actually went behind her back to come into the villa so that she could win Maison's heart!
As she thought of Xavia's suffering afterwards, the hatred in her heart was finally a little more balanced. She tried to force a smile as she said, "Maison, you can talk now? Can you greet your mommy then?"
She had a gentle voice and a sweet smile.
Maison simply stared at Jenna. After that, he shook his head in the next second and turned around before heading upstairs with his little bear in hand.
His walking pace and his posture was arrogant, aloof yet antisocial, just like he was in the past.
Nathan and Zivon were both slightly surprised. According to logical reasoning, since Maison longed for motherly love, then shouldn't he be approaching Jenna? Why was he unhappy instead?
Could it be that this was reverse psychology that had arisen from him wanting it too much?
Nathan didn't dare to say anything else. He quickly went upstairs to take care of Maison.
Jenna was extremely embarrassed.
The both of them had the same appearance, but why would Maison only like Xavia instead of her?! What if this aroused Zivon's suspicion?!
What a damn disobedient child!

She suppressed her own emotion as she walked over to Zivon and apologized gently, "Sorry, Zivon. I have been down with a high fever in the past few days and I felt really uncomfortable. I was worried that I would pass it to Maison. Moreover, the crew was in the mountains. That's the reason why I didn't come to visit you and Maison. Perhaps that's the reason why Maison is showing so much resistance toward me. That's only right, because I only care about my work and I didn't really show him much concern at

"Zivon, why don't I move here so that I can take care of Maison and also try to
cultivate my relationship with him?”
Her soft and gentle voice was filled with guilt and self-reproach. Moreover, she also
found an explanation to explain why Maison was alienating her.
Zivon knitted his brows together
slightly. When Xavia previously moved into the villa, he thought

Jenna looked at the man's poker face that was shrouded in mystery. She simply could not see right through his thoughts. She didn't know what was going on in his mind, and she had never been able to see right through him at all.
She was not content. Why was it that Xavia could move in but she couldn't?
She then continued saying, "Zivon, I know that my younger sister understands my child better than do, and know that she knows how to take care of him. But no matter what it is, my younger sister is still Maison's aunt, and it wouldn't be good for your reputation if she lived here. Besides, my younger sister is about to get married and I am afraid that it would be very difficult for her to focus on taking care of Maison. It would not be good for us to keep bothering and troubling her." Content belongs to Novelxo.org
