Chapter 345
At first, everyone looked confused. But then it clicked. They remembered that Elysia’s grandfather was an Arcanum Master in
Clusia, and her granduncles were just as influential.
During the previous Twitter storm, these granduncles had posted in support of Elysia. One was a National Programming
Competition Gold Medalist; the other, the King of Fighters.
Any one of these people could shake Clusia to its core. They thought, ‘How could the village where such figures lived be
ordinary?‘
After figuring this out, everyone immediately accepted this fact.
At this time, the door to the private room was pushed open. A waiter pushed a dining cart inside and placed the dishes on the
table one by one before exiting.
Each dish on the table was meticulously plated, with unique and exquisite designs that looked appetizing. Quinita picked up a
piece of sashimi and put it on Elysia’s plate. “Elysia, aren’t you hungry? Try this.”
Elysia picked it up and put it in her mouth. Before she could swallow, four or five more dishes appeared on her plate.
Her gaze swept from right to left, landing on the expectant faces watching her. Silently, she picked up her food and chewed
slowly. But no matter how much she ate, the portion never seemed to shrink–until, somehow, it piled up like a small mountain.
Holden said, “Elysia, eat more so you can grow taller. Look, why is there still so much left on your plate?”
Elysia rubbed her round belly. If she continued eating, she would probably explode. “Dad, Mom, and my dear brothers, you eat
too. Don’t just watch me.”
Holden said, “Watching you eat is already filling enough.”
“Holden.” Elysia’s voice held mock reproach, her mouth pouting.
Seeing this, Yehoshua picked up his forks at the right moment. “That’s you. Don’t speak for the rest of us.” Elysia shot Yehoshua
a grateful look.
With the whole family staring at her while she ate, her heart was about to jump out of her chest. Thankfully, Yehoshua was
always there to help her out at critical moments.
he reached for his forks on the table. “Javier is right. Don’t speak for the rest of us. I haven’t taken a single bite.”
With that, he picked up a piece of abalone from the nearest plate. The others also picked up their forks and began to eat, except
for Holden, who sat frozen in his seat.
Holden thought, ‘How did I end up isolated again? Not a chance.‘ Thinking this, he picked up his forks and started to eat. The
others just lowered their heads to eat their own food. Elysia breathed a sigh of relief. Finally, they weren’t staring at her eating.
It was already evening when they came out of Scented Garden. The group then went to a nearby shopping mall and went on a
shopping spree.
By the time they were finished, everyone except Quinita and Elysia had large bags in their hands. This was only a part of what
they had bought, and the rest would be delivered to their home.
The extravagance of her parents when they went shopping was simply jaw–dropping. If she hadn’t stopped them, her parents
might have bought the entire mall.

Whatever she touched, her mother would wave her hand, and all the goods nearby, or even everything in that shop, would be
wrapped up.
Her dad was only responsible for paying, while the brothers carried the bags. In the end, even her dad’s hands weren’t free.
Meanwhile, at the Eveona Hotel, Denzel and Rebecca were in the rest area of the hall, their faces anxious. They looked towards
the door from time to time, for fear that the Evans family would come without them noticing.
Rebecca asked, “Denzel, the Evans family haven’t shown up yet. Could it be that they have actually returned to the hotel but we
didn’t see them?”
Denzel said, “No way. I’ve been staring at the entrance, and I haven’t seen them come in.”
Rebecca asked, “Is it possible that they are already at the hotel and just don’t want to see us?”
Denzel said with a sad face and furrowed brows, “No, I originally thought Mr. and Mrs. Evans came to Sivro either by chance or
to see their daughter.
“But now that I think about it carefully, I feel I was wrong. They came at this juncture. I’m afraid they are here to confront us.”
“Confront us?” Rebecca frowned, her face full of there to confront for?”
Denzel said, “Mr. Evans’s actions are one matter, but his parents‘ are another. I’m afraid this matter will only become more and
more difficult to resolve. No matter what, we owe them an apology.”
Denzel closed his eyes slightly, his face darkened. No matter how difficult it was to solve, he had to try his best. Escaping
problems had never been his style.
If there was one thing Denzel regretted, it was not raising his daughter properly. She’d always seemed obedient on the surface,
but he never imagined she’d be so ruthless inside.
She didn’t just spread rumors to ruin people’s reputations–she even tried to kill someone.
When he walked out of the Nexus Tower, he knew for sure that Bianca had hired a hitman. He’d refused to believe it before,
thinking his own daughter couldn’t be that vicious.
But now, Denzel scoffed inwardly. The facts were right there, staring him in the face. He thought, ‘If I still have doubts, what’s the
difference between me and those who can’t tell right from wrong?‘
This trip shattered all his illusions. But with those illusions gone, the truth hit him like a knife, cutting deeper and deeper, leaving
him in agony.
If he’d known she’d turn out this way, he’d never have let her be born. She’d ruined him and disgraced the family. Because of
her, the Janssen family would never be able to hold their heads high again.
Denzel’s brows furrowed deeper, his face etched with distress. But Rebecca was too preoccupied to notice.
She was staring out the floor–to–ceiling window, watching as a few cars pulled up. She recognized the person who got out–it
was Elysia. The two people with her must have been her parents.
A few more young men emerged, including Fabian, whom she’d met before. Her eyes lit up, and she nudged Denzel. “Denzel,
they’re back.”
Denzel straightened up and looked out the window. After confirming who it was, he quickly smoothed his clothes and stood up,
muttering, “They’re here. Finally.”
He took Rebecca’s hand and hurried toward the door, but it was too late. They ran into the Evans family in the middle of the

hall
Edward frowned slightly as he looked at the people in front of him. He’d had his assistant dig into the Janssen family after
hearing about them, so it wasn’t hard to guess who he was dealing with.
“Mr. Janssen,” Edward asked, “why are you blocking my way?”
