Chapter 25 Athena's POV
When Eros said that it was now 6 o'clock in the evening I nearly had a heart attack. I was supposed to meet up with Maya
already, I panicked as I moved to stand. I couldn't believe we had. spent the entire day just talking although I did very little as I
was still too scared to tell them about me, at least for now anyways. "Oh no, I'm so late" I exclaim, which earns me a chuckle
from Ares, his voice s***y making my insides melt.
"Late?" I hear Lucas ask. "How so?"
Turning my attention to him I quickly shoot out my next reply. "Because I was supposed to meet Maya. I need to go before she
gets mad for making her wait". But while I knew she wouldn't be mad with me and that what I said was a figure of speech, I have
seen Maya get mad before and it
was not pretty. Maya had really laid into them personally, especially when they had the nerve to mess up her kitchen.
With that said, I quickly said my goodbyes only for Eros to kiss me, making me blush harder as tingles danced along my lips. I
wonder if he feels them too, I ponder once we pull away so that I could go. "Mmm, Mm until I later our sweet mate" purrs Eros,
as I slowly make my way towards the door, Emma
and Emily soon join me as I had promised them that they could join me in getting ready. Of course I wasn't going to admit it, but I
did find it nice to have a set of female friends as I had none other than Maya as Diana made sure that I never made a any
friends, ever.
"Ready?" I ask them once they approach, their items in tow. "Ready" they tell me. Smiling, I moved to lead them to Maya's room,
knowing her room was big enough to hold the four of us.
"I hope Emily and I aren't overstepping our boundaries, my Luna "replies Emma, a little hesitant as they walk alongside me.
"You're not Émma, Maya is very nice. Trust me" I tell her, choosing not to correct her on the Luna part as I still had my doubts on
whether or not I would fit the role.
'Stop it, You are Luna. You are their Luna. You may have been born an Alpha but your calling is to be their Luna. It's the Moon
Goddesses wish' replies Artemis, knowing she was right about our calling.
'I know, sorry, it's just all so new to me... I just wish I knew more about my childhood, about who

my parents were. Diana and Brian seem to know more about me than they let on and it bothers me' I tell her truthfully.
"And we'll get to the bottom of it, I promise, but for now enjoy this moment. Enjoy being with our mates' and then just as she had
spoken, she retreats, like she usually did when she didn't want to continue our conversations, leaving me to my thoughts once
more. "Luna?" calls Emily, who has managed to notice my silence which quickly snaps me back. "Huh?" I ask, blinking. "I asked
if you were okay?" Emily asks again, as if to clarify.
"Yes, sorry just thinking" I say with a smile just as we approach Maya's door. Smiling, I move to knock on her door which opens
to reveal a slightly annoyed Maya. "Finally... I almost thought you forgot about me" says Maya, as she moves to let us in. I was
talking with my mates and a few pack members" I tell her as I gesture to Emma and Emily. Grumbling, I hear her mutter
something which causes me to giggle. "Come again?" I tease, trying to hide my amused look as I did. "I said you're lucky I love
you, now move it! You only have 2 hours before the ball starts" and with

that, she moves to pull over towards the vanity, just as she had done the previous night before her eyes study my features, her
mind thinking of what my look should be.
-2 Hours Later-
"Oh my Goddess" breathed Emily, who was currently standing off to my side, her eyes taking in my appearance thus far. "That
terrible?" I ask, nervous about my appearance as Maya had me turned away from the mirror so that I could not see what she
was doing to me. "Absolutely not, you're stunning my Luna.. your mates will absolutely love it" replies Emily in awe as both had
finished with their outfits and were now waiting for me as I moved to turn my gaze towards them.
As my gaze wandered I can't help but notice Emily, as Emily was dressed in a beautiful purple gown. The dress itself was a
sweetheart neckline and when you looked at the dress, the dress itself was designed to stop just above her knees before flaring
out near the back as if creating a train, allowing her legs to be free. Next came a beautiful pair of silver heels which completed
the look.
"Agreed, your beautiful Luna" replies Emma, as my eyes move to look at her next. While looking at Emma, I can't help but notice
a beautiful forest green dress that flared at the waist but stopped. just short of the knee with a halter top neckline. To finish the
look Emma decided on a pair of forest green heels. "T-Thank you" I mutter, blushing.

"Your welcome Luna" they say in unison, just as Maya finished with my hair, my makeup done as well. "Okay Athena, dress time"
and with that Maya moves to grab the dress before revealing it to me causing me to gasp, for their standing in front of me was

e girls, but what surprised me first was the low back of the dress, revealing my whole backside as it looked to start just above my
a**** before falling to the floor in it's typical mermaid style, the color a beautiful navy blue with tiny specks of either silver or
diamond to give it that pop. "I-It's beautiful" I whisper, feeling my heart race at the thought of wearing it. "Do you like it?" asks
Maya as she moves to help me stand. "Yes...it's beautiful" I tell her, trying to assure her as I begin to feel excited.
"Good" chuckles Maya. "Get changed" and then with nothing else she moves to hand me the dress allowing me to change as I
move to enter the bathroom. Once in the bathroom, I quickly move to shed my clothes from earlier before moving to slip on a pair
of lace blue panties. As soon as they're on, I suddenly realize that there isn't room for a bra and so opt to leave it off as I move to
slip on the dress, my hands holding the fabric close to my chest as I move to exit the bathroom.
Um, could someone help me?" I ask with a blush as I move to exit. "I can" is all I hear as Emily moves to zip me up, the dress
now snug against my body as it hugged all of my curves. "Ready to see the results?" asks Maya with a smile. Nodding. I move to
walk over to the mirror only to feel my heart stop, for their standing before me was a totally different person.
"T-This can't be me" I whisper as I notice my hair, my hair in a half up, half down type of style with tiny curls to frame my face as
glittering hair clips adorned my hair while the beautiful blue dress adorned my body as a blush slowly creeps up my thoughts
drifting to those of my mates in hopes they would love the outfit as much as me as Maya had even gone subtle with the makeup
only to do a smokey eye and red lip to finish it off. "Oops, can't forget these" says Maya as she moves to hand me the same pair
of silver heels as the night before.
"Thank you" I whisper as I move to slip them on. Once on, I do another once over before turning my attention towards Emma
and Emily. "Let's get this show on the road".
Laughing, they both nod their heads as I move to hug Maya. "Thank you" I say to her in a whisper. "Always my dear. You
deserve this and more, now go get them" and with that she moves to shoo us away from the room, a smile dancing along her
lips.
"Let's go, our mates are probably waiting for us" replies Emily, just as we begin our descent. towards the ballroom, my body
nervous for their reaction. Here's hoping they like it, are my only
