Chapter 3
I finally understood why Molly who would always snatch the VIP rooms from me would generously give me this room. She knew that these people
were ruffians.
The ladies in the rooms all worked under me. If something happened, I would lose my position as the manager and might be getting myself into some
trouble.
Things were getting rowdy in the room. A few men yanked some girls forcefully over with a nasty smile on their face.
These bastards!
I was going crazy. I glanced to the side and saw a half-broken bottle of alcohol by the trash can. I picked it up without hesitation. The part where it
broke off was sharp as a blade and was flickering under the faint light.
“Don’t touch me, let go of me. Let go of me!”
The crying and pleading noises coming from the room was making me rage. The fatso sounded so haughty and bossy, he was ordering his
bootlicking underlings to be as rough as they wanted to.
I knew that they were shit-faced and hence any rational words wouldn’t go through them right now.
“Barbara!”
The ladies all hid behind me the moment they saw me. I was like a hen protecting her chicks as I put my hand up, protecting them from the front. My
nose stung seeing the terrified look on their faces.
“Go out!”
“Yes!”
The fatso was stunned because I suddenly barged in. He didn’t say anything to stop them. The ladies were smart and they quickly ran out of the
room.
I could smell blood in the air in the room. The 8 men before me had completely lost it. I put on my best service smile and hid the broken bottle behind
me.
“Good evening, I’m the manager and my name is Barbara Cox. I apologize for the interruption, if you need anything else...”

Chapter 53: Epilogue
Wham!
“Who the fuck are you? Why did you let the girls out? You sure are gutsy, ain’t it? I am the customer here and the customer is king! Go make them all
come back, I’m going to make them lick my boots and apologize!”
This bastard was not just joking around. My heart hurt thinking about how scared the girls looked. I wanted to protect them with all my might.
I touched my swollen cheek and tried to put on my best smile. I bowed to the bastard and said, “Sir, you should feel better now that you hit me. They
are young and still naïve, please do forgive them. I’m their manager and it’s my fault if they did something wrong.”
The fatso looked at me eerily, his smirked sent a shiver down my spine. He reached out his fat hand and grabbed my chin, forcing me to look up to
him.
“So, you’re the manager?”
“Yes!”
“You’re quite good looking. If you want to apologize on their behalf, put out a more sincere offer. Do you know what I want the most now?” He pointed
at himself as he let me go.
