Chapter 648
Chapter 648:
Seventeen raised his hand with great difficulty. While the man was distracted, he aimed the gun at his heart and shot him dead. It
was the first time Alicia had seen Seventeen kill someone, leaving her stunned.
However, when she noticed that Seventeen’s chest was bleeding, she immediately rushed to his side. “Seventeen, are you
okay?” Tears streamed down her face as she blurred her eyes.
Alice had been terrified for a long time. She didn’t dare approach, fearing someone might shoot her. “I’m fine,” Seventeen
muttered before fainting.
“Seventeen!” Alicia was so frightened that she quickly pressed her hands against his chest, but the wound was still bleeding and
wouldn’t stop.
After a moment of thought, she tried to lift Seventeen into the car, but she couldn’t move him at all. “Mr. Seventeen, wake up!”
Alicia lay on Seventeen’s body and cried, feeling helpless.
Suddenly, she lost consciousness and fainted. When she regained her senses, she found herself at home. “Seventeen!” Alicia
sat up and looked around but didn’t see him. Panic set in, and she immediately ran out of her house in search of him.
But when she arrived, there was no one there.
FLASHBACK END
“After that, no matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t find Seventeen. I would visit that place regularly, but I never succeeded.” Alicia
looked at Seventeen, tears brimming in her eyes. Thankfully, she had found him now.
Seventeen reached out to hold her in his arms, patting her back and reassuring her that he was fine and right beside her.
“Hasn’t Seventeen woken up? What happened three years ago?” Ruben looked at Alicia, unsure if she was telling the truth.
Alicia wasn’t lying. He could feel her concern.
“Oh,” Ruben nodded and took Emily into his arms without saying anything.

“Uncle Seventeen, will you leave?” Adrian had wanted to ask this question for a long time.
“No.” Seventeen shook his head at Adrian. Even if he remembered the past, he wouldn’t leave. He had promised RK to protect
Adrian, so he wouldn’t leave easily. Adrian nodded, believing what Seventeen said.
“Well, it’s getting late. Seventeen, take Alicia back to rest. She’s not in a good condition,” Stella said, glancing at Alicia, who was
crying in Seventeen’s arms.
Seventeen nodded, standing up with Alicia in his arms and heading back to his home. “Since it’s getting late, you guys should
also head back early.”
Stella looked at RK and suggested they leave.
“No, we won’t be leaving today.” Ruben held Emily tighter, unwilling to go back.
Emily shot Ruben a glare, clearly wanting him to leave, but he pretended not to notice.
“Well, darling, godmother, uncle, good night,” Adrian said as he quickly ran away. He felt it was best to leave first, unable to
endure the heavy atmosphere.
“Emily and I will head to bed. Good night.” Ruben took Emily into the room, completely ignoring her protests.
The corners of Stella’s eyes twitched as she turned to look at RK. However, RK remained seated, indicating he also didn’t want
to leave.
Stella pursed her lips, unsure of what to say. She decided to head to bed and rest.
RK watched Stella stand up and reached out to grab her hand.
“Stella, what do you think?” RK replied, a smile tugging at the corners of his lips.
“It’s getting late. If you don’t want to go back, you can sleep with Little Rian for the night,” Stella said, attempting to stand up
again after speaking. RK placed his hand on her waist, refusing to let her go.
Annoyed, Stella glared at RK. “Be good. Call me ‘honey,'” RK requested, finding that he preferred Stella’s affectionate names
over her full name.
“In your dreams!” Stella rolled her eyes at him, trying to push his hand away.
RK bent down and kissed her. Stella was taken by surprise; by the time she realized what was happening, she was already in a
daze.
“Dear, shall I sleep with you?” RK murmured, pulling back slightly and blowing a gentle breath into her ear.
Stella shuddered. Pushing RK away, she quickly stood up and rushed into the bedroom.
She closed the door and placed her hand on her chest, feeling the rapid beating of her heart.
RK smiled, pleased by her shyness.
He stood up, walked to Stella’s room, and knocked on the door. “Dear, open the door.”
Determined, RK decided he would sleep in the same room as Stella that night, even if he had to be shameless about it. He
preferred to be with her rather than sleep alone.
“No, you can go to Adrian’s room to sleep.” Stella didn’t even think before responding. She wasn’t foolish; she didn’t want to let a
wolf in, especially in such a vulnerable state.
At that moment, Adrian opened the door and looked at RK.
Adrian waved to RK, signaling for him to come over.
RK walked over, curious about what Adrian wanted to say. However, Adrian didn’t say anything; instead, he shoved something
into RK’s palm and closed the door.
RK looked at the key in his hand, a sly smile spreading across his face.
