Lady Miller’s expression was as if she had eaten a fly, with her mouth wide open. She scrutinized Robert for a long time and
finally smiled weakly.
“Robert, I remember the old you, a career fanatic who only pursued the expansion of the empire. Now, you are willing to transfer
the Miller Group, which you personally developed, to someone else. You have changed,” she stared at Robert with a hint of
speculation, “you are not yourself anymore.”
Robert smiled and said, “That is no one else but my son. Besides, the Miller Group has become nothing but an empty shell. I feel
powerless to turn things around, and even if I wanted to cling onto it, it would be in vain. It’s better to give the young people a
chance to develop.”
Lady Miller waved her hand and the butler approached, “Madam, what are your orders?”
“Go and fetch Thorne. I want to see him,” Lady Miller commanded with an air of authority, as if she were still the young and
respected head of the Miller Group.
“Yes.”
Robert’s face stiffened, and a trace of displeasure flashed in his eyes. He said in a muffled voice, “His health is not good, so his
mother should torment him less in the future.”
After saying that, Robert left.
Lady Miller stood frozen in place, her face alternating
between pale and green. She could sense that her once obedient and respectful son no longer held her in the same
reverence.
“Hmph,” she coldly sneered. With a hint of self–deception and self–comfort, she said, “He must have realized what I did, right? It
doesn’t matter, now I am the owner of those assets. With money in hand, why should I be afraid of him not obeying me?”
The butler nodded with a smile, “Madam, from now on, these younger generations will have to act according to your wishes.
Only you can provide them with a prosperous life.”

Lady Miller laughed proudly, “Hahaha.”
Later, Lady Miller, led by the butler, went to the forbidden area in the backyard. The old man guarding the forbidden area,
however, was heavily intoxicated. Lady Miller frowned unhappily and scolded disapprovingly, “What kind of talk is this?”
The butler said, “After Uma set fire, he felt deeply guilty and drank alcohol every day to numb himself.”
Lady Miller stepped forward and kicked the drunken gatekeeper.

The old gatekeeper rubbed his eyes and, after recognizing Lady Miller, he awkwardly sat up. “Madam, he is still inside. He

Lady Miller walked towards the cave entrance.
Lady Miller opened all the lights in the cave and skillfully arrived at the place where Uma and Sir Miller were being held.

your mouth and obediently lie there like a spittoon.”
Lady Miller remembered those unforgettable past events. Now, being high and mighty, she was accustomed to being admired by
others and had long forgotten about that shameful life.
Sir Miller brought up the old matter again, which made her blood boil. She stood up in excitement and grabbed his collar, giving
him a series of slaps on the face.
Lady Miller snarled, “I loved you so much back then, I did whatever you asked of me. But what about you? You abused me after
playing with my emotions. And you cheated on me with Uma behind my back. Do you think you two can justify it to me?”
Tired from fanning, Lady Miller suddenly calmed dowr

Her ferocious expression slowly returned to calm, and in the
end, she arrogantly pinched Sir Miller’s chin, looking down on him as if a superior disdainfully gazes at an ant.
“Don’t provoke me either. Let me tell you, Uma is still in my hands, she hasn’t died yet.”
Sir Miller became excited upon hearing the words, “Where is she?”
“She was locked up in a mental hospital by me. Every day, doctors would inject her with large amounts of unknown drugs,
making her live in constant agony as if being devoured by insects. You tell me, should you thank me? She is the culprit who set
fire and killed people, yet I saved her.”
Sir Miller looked at her in confusion and said, “You hate me so much, how can you be so kind?”
“Of course it’s because I want to use her to control your daughter. Do you know that your daughter Nora is still alive? She helps
me with some shady business, but I’m afraid she might betray me. So, by using both of you, I can keep her firmly in my grip.”
Sir Miller’s eyes welled up with tears.
“Is my daughter still alive?”

Lady Miller grimaced, “Hmph, I have never seen you so infatuated with Robert before.”
Sir Miller said coldly, “Robert is always cold towards me whenever he sees me. Since he has developed the habit of not
recognizing his own father because of you, I don’t want him anymore.”
Lady Miller sneered, “Unfaithful and unfortunate.” Immediately, a meaningful smirk appeared on her face.
“I’m in a good mood now, so I will tell you a secret.”

Lady Miller said to herself, “You and Uma, only knowing that you both carried a baby for ten months and happily named her
Nora. But do you know? She now has the surname Fu, just like me.”
Sir Miller was furious and said, “What do you mean? Nora is mine and Uma’s child. Why should she have your surname?”

Lady Miller took out a piece of paper from her pocket and unfolded it. Upon seeing the data inside, she smiled proudly and then
handed the paper to Sir Miller, saying, “Take a look at what this is.”
Sir Miller reached out his trembling hand and took a look, “A paternity test report?”
Then his face changed dramatically, “You and Nora? No, it’s impossible. How could you possibly be related?”
Lady Miller laughed wildly, as she aged, even with her careful maintenance, there were many wrinkles. Laughing made her look
even more grotesque and terrifying.
“I couldn’t get pregnant, but I could still produce eggs. As long as I find a sperm and borrow someone’s womb, I can still fulfill my
desire to be a mother, right? And Uma is the surrogate mother I have chosen.”
