Chapter 143
Chapter 143
Aurora’s POV
I was a slut trapped in a virgin’s body.
Yes, you read that correctly. I was a twenty–five year old virgin.
And that was not by choice. Mostly.
When all my friends were losing their virginity, I couldn’t because all boys were running away from me, thanks to my twin brother.
He had marked me off limits right from day one, calling a campus wide hands–off law.
Who wouldn’t listen to the captain of the lacrosse team who had a knack for destruction and starting fires and getting violent?
I figured things would get better once he joined the mafia, but rumours spread as far and wide as a forest fire. Nobody wanted to
associate with the ‘little sister‘ of a mafia don.
Little sister, my foot.
Now, I was taking matters into my own hands.
Little silver dress? Check.
Two glasses of vodka down? Check.
A club notorious for the wrong kind of VIP men? Double check.
I sat at the bar stool, mixing my drink. The bartender’s eyes shined every time our gazes locked, and after the fourth time, he
abandoned another customer to come chat me up.
“Why’re you alone?” He asked as if it was blasphemous. “A girl like you shouldn’t be alone.”
I raise my shoulders in a shrug. “I guess nobody wants to keep me company.”
“I somehow have a hard time believing that,” he replies, chuckling. I stare at his blonde hair, black shirt, silver chain peeking from
under it with an initial K.
“I was told this was supposed to be easy.” I mutter, a little slurring in my sentence.
“What was?”
“You sit here looking pretty, a guy approaches you, you talk for a bit, flirt for a bit, dance for a bit and then BOOM! Virginity gone.”
“Jesus Christ.” The man’s eyes widened, and then he laughs back so loud, it carries to me over the music. “You’re here for a
hook–up?”
I nod. “I’m a twenty–five year old virgin. Don’t judge me for wanting to finally lose it.” And then I purse my lips. Newest addition to
facts about myself: Vodka makes me talkative. Extremely talkative.
I needed to shut
1. up.
Bartender boy laughs some more. “Is th your first time in a club?”
“It’s my first time alone.” I frown. “Am I that obvious?”

Chapter 143
“Hi, Kai.” I smile back at him. “I’m Aurora. Does the K in your necklace stand for your own name?”
“No.” He chuckles. “It stands for Kevin. My boyfriend.”
“Wow, you have a boyfriend.” I blink. “How does one get that?” I sarcastically mutter, “I have never dated anyone.”
“Really? Girl, look at you.” He fans himself as if I was hot, and I blush Come on now, I’m going to set you up with a great guy who
pops your cherry.”
I grin. “I like you, Kai.”
“And remember, if the guy is making you uncomfortable, you call for me and order an angel drink. I’ll get you out of the
situation, cool?” He grins back and I nod like a child. “Okay, wait. You’ve got incoming.”
Before I could process his words, a man makes his way to me. He would be my height with heels if I get up, which was okay I
think, because I was pretty tall. He had brown hair and blue eyes with a soft featured face, and while that didn’t make my
stomach flip, I didn’t mind his company.
His name was Ethan, and he worked in the IT department of a big shot company. After six minutes of useless ranting about
himself and asking me questions about me, he forwarded his hand to me with a Cheshire grin. “So, how about a dance?”
He wasn’t exactly stellar company, and I was reluctant about agreeing but before I could make up my mind, a hand wraps
around his neck from behind.
Tattooed knuckles come into view, and then the man they belong to. White shirt clings to his tall, broad frame, showcasing his
muscles. He had black ruffled hair that matched perfectly and green eyes that were set on Ethan in front of me.
“Fuck off. Now” The Italian accent was strong in my stranger’s words, and my heart flipped.
I had some weaknesses. Those muscles. The Italian accent. Tattoos.
And this man was all of them combined.
I watch in a daze as Ethan scrambles off, and the stranger sits on the now empty stool in front of me.
I gulp, unable to take my eyes off his face. He had familiar features, but I couldn’t exactly place them.
“What’re you doing?” He nearly hisses at me.
I blink. “Whatever I want to?” I frown, “Who are you?”
Amusement flickers in his eyes, and he looks like he wanted to roll his face back and laugh out loud.
“Luca.” He says. “Luca R.” His last name dies on his tongue as if he changed his mind.
“And who are you to ask me what I’m doing, Luca R?” I bat my lashes.
“What I am,” A little smirk plays on his lips, “Is better than that sorry excuse of a man you were entertaining.”
“Is that so?” I bite my lower lip.
“Cazzo,” he mutters under his breath. That was Italian for fuck. What? I had taken an Italian course up on Duolingo when it was
all the rage and guess the wrong things stuck with me.
“Stella,” I introduced myself with a fake name I picked out just minutes ago.
“Stella, huh?” He repeats in the same knowing, amused voice. “What’re you doing here?”

Chapter 143
“The same thing that you are.” My brows knit. “It’s a club, I’m enjoying.”
“I was here for business,” he replies.
“Then not the same thing that you are,” I raise my shoulders. “I’m here to dance.”
“Then let’s dance,” he offers me his hand.
My eyes bore into his. “What about your business?”
One corner of his lips raise. “Change of plans.”

Luca ‘R‘ hovers over me in the crowd. He was taller than most people around, and his hands cage me in to make sure nobody
accidentally brushes against us.
I freeze when his hands trail the bare skin of my back to lower themselves right above my hip, his green eyes boring into
mine.
I gulp.
“You don’t really want to dance, do you?” His whispers in my ears in a low voice.
Goosebumps rise on my skin. Now or never. Now on never. Fucking now or never. “No.” I shake my head.
Thave a room upstairs.” He offers.
My heart thumps loudly in my chest. “Let’s go,” My voice was raspy, and desire burned in his eyes at my answer.
He grabs my wrist, pulling me out of the crowd and outside the club, towards the elevators.
“Security check,” One of the men at the entrance looks me up and down.
“She’s with me.” My hot stranger announces, his hand slipping from my wrist to entwine my fingers, and the man nods, giving us
entrance.
Why was this so hot?
I shut my brain, courtesy of the vodka, and let him drag me into an elevator. He presses the topmost button after pushing a
keycard, and then takes his hands off me.
“Why’d you leave my hand?” I pout, and then purse my lips. Fuck, I was tipsy. Like, really tipsy.
Luca’s eyes don’t leave the shut elevator doors. “Because if I don’t, I will rip out your dress right now, right here.”
My stomach does a flip, and my core throbs.
I don’t know where I find my courage today because I looked at him with absolute fuck–me eyes. “And why is that problem?”
“Cazzo.” He curses under his breath. He said that a lot. “You see that behind?” He points at the red dot on the top right side of
the elevator.
“It’s a camera.”
He nods at my fifth–grade answer. “If someone watches me rip your dress off, I will have to rip their eyes off. Messy situation,
don’t you think?”
My stomach does the flip thing again, my cheeks heat and I look away from him quickly.

Chapter 143
The clevator dings and opens into a suite, and before I can even out properly, I am being pinned to the wall.
“It’s about fucking time I get you out of my head,” Luca murmurs, and then his lips are on mine.
