Chapter 419

Tessa did not have the habit of memorizing people's phone numbers. After all, her friends' and family's numbers were saved in her contacts.

"Tessa, how have you been for the past two years?" Melody asked as she chopped the vegetables.

Tessa washed each lettuce leaf carefully and answered, "I've been doing pretty well."

Melody wasn't aware of Tessa's family background, so she was under the impression that Tessa was just an ordinary lawyer. So, she asked Are you used to working at the faw firm back in your

hometown? Are the salaries in

Rivertown high?"

"It's alright. The pay is pretty much the same as Haverford."

"Did you date anyone else after breaking up with that Zach guy?" Before Melody

returned to her hometown, she had met Zachary once.
