Chapter 87
The elevator door that was about to close was opened again. Nola looked up and saw Deborah walking into the elevator,
Nola and Deborah smiled at each other, and Nola said, “Miss Garcia!”
The elevator was very quiet, and Deborah asked, “Are you still used to going to work?”
Nola nodded. “I really like this kind of atmosphere, and I can improve myself.”
“It’s good that you can think like this. Many people, who have followed me, left after the probationary period because they
couldn’t bear the hardships. Even if you were someone introduced by Damion, there would be no exceptions.”
Nola was speechless that Deborah still regarded her as a nepotism.
Nola smiled but was not angry. There was nothing wrong with saying that Nola was a nepotism. It was just that Nola didn’t like
the word very much.
“Miss Garcia, you misunderstood. Mr. Garcia and I just know each other and have no other relationship.”
Deborah just smiled. Based on her understanding of Elvis, Elvis would not allow his subordinates to do such a thing. But that day
Elvis came to the design department for inspection. Deborah didn’t know if it was a coincidence or for other
purposes.
But Deborah thought that even she knew about the recommendation letter, and Elvis must also know it, but Elvis acquiesced in
Damion’s actions. Deborah wondered if Elvis recognized Nola’s ability, or if that was his meaning at all.
Deborah couldn’t believe that Nola would have something to do with Elvis.
Nola’s outfit seemed ordinary, but none of it was cheap. Deborah could tell, and so could Claire.
Deborah thought Nola had a different identity, but Nola was willing to be an intern assistant in the design department, had no
intention of showing off, and was even modest, even though she couldn’t find any faults in Nola. Deborah wondered who the
exact Nola was.
Seeing Nola get out of the elevator, Deborah walked out and called to stop Nola.
“It’s snowing. You don’t seem to have an umbrella.”
Nola did not bring an umbrella. However, she and Elvis would meet around the corner and go back together.
“I’m fine.”
“Where do you live? I can give you a ride. Wait for me here for a while.”
“Miss Garcia!” Nola grabbed Deborah. “No need. Someone will pick me up. Thank you!”
“Someone is coming to pick you up?” Deborah raised her eyebrows. She just wanted to know Nola’s background and see where
“Okay, be careful when you go back.” Deborah went to the parking lot without showing any signs of expression. The doubts in
Deborah’s mind were not gone.
Nola walked out of the hall. The cold wind blew, and the people in the company had almost left. At that time, there were few
people at the door, and it was dark outside. Nola thought that it would not be a problem to walk a short distance to the corner of
the next street.
The familiar silver–gray car had already parked in front of Nola. Nola was stunned for a moment and saw Elvis glance at her

through the car window. Nola seemed guilty, looked around, taking advantage of no one, and got into the co–pilot.
“Okay, let’s go!”
Elvis felt a little aggrieved and thought he was Nola’s legitimate husband, but why did he have to be so sneaky when he brought
her home from getting off work?

Nola’s eyes were sharp, and she saw a white Honda driving out from behind. The driver seemed to be Deborah. Nola didn’t
move. “Let’s go! I’m hungry.”
Elvis drove away, and Deborah was right behind.
Deborah drove over just to see who the person picking up Nola was, but when Deborah came over, only the car was parked at
the door and the car belonged to Elvis.
Elvis never parked his car at the door!
Out of curiosity, Deborah followed. It just so happened that they were on the same road at the beginning. Deborah wondered if
there were people in Elvis‘ car and then thought of Nola all of a sudden. Deborah gave up her thoughts.
However, no one noticed that Fiona came out of the company and saw the scene of Nola getting into the car just now, and she
still couldn’t come back to her senses.
Fiona was stunned that Nola had a relationship with Mr. Grayson. Fiona had never heard of which woman Mr. Grayson sent
home after getting off work.
Fiona pushed her glasses and even felt that her world had been turned upside down, and an incredible guess came to her mind.
At least, Nola and Mr. Grayson had a close relationship whether that relationship was aboveboard or not remained to be studied.
Fiona felt that she knew the great secret, couldn’t recover for a long time, and thought if so, Miss Garcia would be sad when she
found out.
Elvis‘ car stopped at the intersection and waited for the traffic lights, but that direction was not where Elvis used to go.
Watching the silver–gray Maybach turn right and leave, Deborah was about to withdraw her gaze but accidentally saw a person
in the car, which was a woman.
Deborah was so dumbfounded that she didn’t know where her car should go. It was the car behind her honked that made her
react.
The voice in her heart told Deborah that she had to follow to see what was going on, but they were going in opposite directions,
and when Deborah turned around, Elvis‘ car had already disappeared.
Deborah seemed to have lost her soul, not knowing where she should go, and all she could think about was the person in the
car.
Although Deborah couldn’t see the person’s appearance clearly, Deborah saw that it was a woman who seemed to feed Elvis, as
intimate as an ordinary couple.
Deborah joined Grayson Group after graduation and had always been by Elvis‘ side. Knowing that Nancy was gone, Deborah
was very happy and felt that one day, Elvis would see her goodness, and she and Elvis would get together.
But just now that scene made Deborah panic.
Another woman appeared beside Elvis!

Deborah was mad at herself for she didn’t see clearly the woman’s face. Deborah slapped the horn in the car angrily, startling
herself.
Thinking of that figure, it seemed a little familiar, but Deborah couldn’t recognize who it was. Their intimate gesture had already
made Deborah unacceptable.
Deborah thought no other woman was worthy of Elvis.
Nola didn’t know that Deborah had seen it, let alone that Deborah had those thoughts. In Nola’s eyes, Deborah was a capable
woman. Even if Deborah had some admiration, she would not do disgusting things for personal reasons.
Just now, Nola was just hungry and ate apples to fill her stomach. Elvis was dissatisfied and complained that he could only
watch, so Nola let Elvis bite the apple. Deborah discovered something from their action at that time.
Tou know, in winter, eating hot pot was the only way to be happy.”
That night, they would not go back to dinner. There was a thing that had been delayed for a long time, and it needed to be
completed that day. Nola met Elvis‘ good bros before. Now, it was Elvis‘ turn to meet Nola’s good girlfriend, internet addiction girl.
Linda Hopkin.
