Calista didn't think too much about why he was behaving like this, and just crossed her arms as she said, "That's a secret.
Tomorrow's goods are connected to the Sinclair family, so I'd advise you to bring more men." There was a little evil smile slowly
spreading across her face as she said so.
My dear Jarrett - since you're most afraid of leaving a criminal record, I'll have to send you a surprise gift then.
She had no idea that her behavior had made Wyatt's heart beat even faster, and he was really puzzled by himself - he had
always hated women who were scheming, and his image of Calista was that she was indeed scheming, but somehow he still
wanted to draw close to her and couldn't find it in himself to say no to her.
What drugs did she give him?!
Calista was still confused when she alighted from the car. Wyatt was still behaving normally earlier, but once he had driven the
car back to the city center, he had suddenly said he had to attend to some matters and got her to get out of the car in the middle
of nowhere. But Calista didn't dwell too long on it. She went to the Housing Rental Center and rented a place with one bedroom,
and then went to buy some clothes and necessities, and it was almost dark by the time she returned to the Shang house.
The moment she reached home, she saw Benedict seated at the dining table.
Calista was still unsure of her feelings towards Benedict. He was biased, but he was still her father.
"You actually remembered to come home!" Yelena was furious.
In the afternoon she and Jonathan had run over to the hotel in a hurry to find that Calista had played them out!
Calista ignored her and sat down at the table, picked up her bowl and started eating, but the other three looked at her without
moving. "Why are you looking at me? Aren't you all hungry?"
Benedict frowned. His elder daughter was suffering from some mental health issues and he couldn't just leave it alone. So he
said, "Callie, I know your condition is a little special, but you can't refuse treatment and then play Dr. Larkin out like that right?"
Calista continued eating with her head bent low, and this way of ignoring everyone around her was very similar to how she used
to be.

Yelena found that the more she looked at Calista, the more she felt that she must be possessed, but she wasn't going to let
today's matter go!
She spoke in an authoritative voice, "I have already arranged for Dr. Larkin to come tomorrow afternoon. I know you like to go
out and have fun, but you must be at home at 3 p.m. tomorrow!"
The chopsticks in Calista's hand stopped moving, and then she smiled knowingly, directing her sparkling eyes at Yelena, and the
cold stare pierced deep into Yelena's heart. "Sure, as long as you agree to one thing, I'll accept the treatment." Benedict saw that

Calista was willing to cooperate and was overjoyed. "Go ahead and tell me!"
"Dad, Mrs. Fairchild says she's not feeling well, and seeing that I know a bit about medicine, she's asked me to stay with the
Fairchilds for a few days to accompany her."
Everyone else at the table exchanged weird glances.
Yelena asked a little nervously, "Not at home again? How long are you going to be there?"
If she stayed outside for too long, how was she going to film Calista in the nude?
Calista smiled and replied, "Not too long, just seven days."
Yelena breathed a sigh of relief and thought, seven days it is - my plan will still go through even after waiting for seven days.
But she added, "You can go over tonight, but you must return tomorrow afternoon, because it's very hard to get an appointment
with Dr. Larkin."
Benedict also quickly chipped in, "Come back tomorrow afternoon and see Dr. Larkin, it won't take up too much time, I'm sure the
Fairchilds are understanding enough."
Calista thought about what needed to be done the next night and nodded, "In that case I'll go over only from the day after
tomorrow."
Yelena and Benedict both breathed a sigh of relief. It was rare to see Calista so gentle, so they dare not say anything that might
agitate her. Only Quincy spotted the little smirk on Calista's face, and it made her hair stand on end.
But then she thought about how Calista would never be able to face the world again after Jonathan completes his mission, and
then the Stafford family will have only one daughter - Quincy!

Calista lowered her eyes and went back to eating. She could guess their hearts even without thinking.
Yelena was going to push back her plans to drug her and film her nude a week later, but she was going to settle Jonathan within
the week!
Calista ate and thought coldly, which method would be more exciting to deal a blow to this jerk?
The next night, the night was dark and strong winds blew.
Calista slipped out of the Shang house and ran for the jetty.
The Sinclairs wanted to wash their hands of all illegal businesses and had rejected several opportunities to do such deals, but
they were not ready to let go of illegal weapons yet. And since the amount tonight was fairly large, she was sure that Jarrett
would make an appearance.
When she thought about how Wyatt would suddenly interrupt this major operation, she got a little excited. Jarrett's expression
would be priceless for sure - how could she miss this?
Calista was very nimble from her years of practice, plus her heightened sense of sight and hearing, and she made her way easily
into the heavily guarded jetty in the cover of the night, and bided her time.

Just then, a large ship approached the jetty.
It was here!
Calista knew about this matter
because in her previous life, there was a shootout here and after a long period of police investigation, they found out that it was
two groups of people fighting over the same lot of firearms. Later she also heard that one group was from the Sinclair family, but
there was no hard
evidence and it was merely a guess.
So tonight she was going to make sure Jarrett bore all the guilt!
The moment the ship docked, many men came to move the goods, and suddenly many large trucks barged into the jetty,
creating a scene.

Calista hid behind the large row of
shelves and saw that after the trucks had barged in, they started firing their guns, and a gunfight began right in front of her eyes,
with real bullets and the sound of people getting killed. The gunshots were fired in quick succession, and since this was the first
time Calista had ever witnessed something like this, she suddenly started getting excited for some reason.
She was waiting for Wyatt to arrive. As far as she knew, Wyatt had already made arrangements earlier in the day, and if they
arrived now, they'd seize both the culprits and their goods!
In the midst of the gunshots, Calista could see many people coming out from the shadows to counterattack.
The intruder had not expected Jarrett to be prepared for this intrusion and was in a panic. But it was too late to run now...
It was obvious that one side had the
upper hand, Jarrett watched from the side coldly. He knew someone was going to try to intercept his
goods tonight, so he purpose
waited for them so he could take this chance to wipe these enemies out.
Everything was well within his plans, but suddenly they were surrounded by the sound of police sirens!
The sound of the chopper rotor could be heard, and two choppers came flying over the scene, shining bright lights down and
scattering the fighting below. A voice came over the chopper loudspeakers, echoing through the whole jetty. "You have been
surrounded! You have been surrounded! Put down your weapons! Put down your weapons!"
They were surrounded? That was impossible! The operation tonight couldn't have been leaked - where the heck did these police
come from?
Jarrett was originally watching a good show, but now his expression darkened. Everyone at the jetty started running in all
directions, because they knew what awaited them if they got arrested!
In the mess, someone started pulling Jarrett from behind. "Mr. Jarrett, this way!"
Jarrett was still unsure of the situation and ran out with him, only to find that every exit from this huge jetty was jammed with
police cars!

This was definitely an ambush!
Jarrett's expression turned cold, texting while he fumed, "We've been betrayed by someone among us!"
