Chapter 350
As everyone laughed at Edward being playfully teased, two cars pulled up, one after the other.
Timothy stepped out first, with Jerome following behind, holding the camera lens Edward had found in his room.
Everyone’s eyes instinctively turned to the car Jerome was in. Fortunately, Bellina didn’t step out from the front passenger
seat.
“Timothy, Jerome,” Joycelyn said, feeling a little awkward as she stood between Ellison and Edward. Wanting to avoid any
tension, she quickly greeted Jerome and moved to his side.
“Ah!” Edward realized once again that he had been outsmarted by Joycelyn.
He couldn’t help himself though, always trying to push Ellison’s buttons.
“Got the lens? Let me try it out,” Edward said, quickly looking for any excuse to avoid Ellison’s watchful gaze.
His attempt to change the subject didn’t go unnoticed, and the others couldn’t help but laugh.
“Jerome, since you’re here, how about we take a childhood photo together?” Joycelyn suggested, pulling out her phone. She had
found an old picture on the Schultz family photo wall, taken on her mother’s birthday, with the siblings individually photographed
as children.
She wanted to recreate it.
Jerome hesitated slightly, still holding the camera gear box in his hands, his handsome face clouded with uncertainty.
Clearly, he hadn’t expected to be asked to stay for a photo after delivering the lens.
“Come on, Jerome, let’s go,” Joycelyn said, pulling him toward the others.

The brothers didn’t show any visible reaction. They all moved closer, arranging themselves around the photo, reminiscing about
their old poses.
The old photo featured Timothy sitting with Joycelyn on his lap, Jerome standing beside them, with the other siblings in the back.

The photographer hadn’t arrived yet, so Ellison stepped in, taking the camera from Edward’s hands.
Shirley stood nearby, guiding them on their poses and expressions.
“This may look like seven people in the picture, but actually, it’s eight,” Timothy said with a smile, patting the seat beside him.
Joycelyn walked over, just as she did when she was a child, sitting on his lap.
Jerome, standing beside Timothy, half–squatted as he looked at the scene, clearly surprised.
“Is Joycelyn... pregnant?”
“Yes, she hasn’t announced it yet, still keeping it a secret for now,” Timothy replied without hesitation.
Jerome’s eyes lit up with excitement, though no one noticed it.
“Jerome, you need to do the ‘yeah‘ pose,” Joycelyn reminded him.
Jerome raised his other hand and gave a small ‘yeah‘ gesture, while Ellison clicked the shutter.

The photo, taken over a decade later, perfectly mirrored the original one.
Looking at the picture, Joycelyn felt like she was speaking to her younger self.
“Great! Let’s take a few more,” Joycelyn said as she stood up from Timothy’s lap.
“Sit in the middle,” Timothy suggested, moving aside to make space for her.
The six brothers stood around her like bodyguards, exuding an aura that made them seem like real–life heirs to a fortune.
The moment felt like a scene straight out of a drama, the family united and full of warmth.

After a quick costume change, they didn’t bother with new outfits, opting instead to change locations and capture more moments
at various scenic spots, under the photographer’s guidance. They spent about an hour taking many beautiful photos, reminiscent
of a magazine photoshoot.
An hour later, Jerome’s phone started ringing incessantly. It was clear–Bellina was starting to hurry him along
In the past, Jerome would answer her calls immediately, never letting a moment slip by. But now, when he saw the phone
ringing, he simply silenced it and put it in his pocket.
“Jerome, it’s probably Bellina pushing you,” Joycelyn observed, sensing his dilemma. “Why don’t you head back for now? We
can always take more photos next time.”

Just as she spoke, a stylist arrived with a mobile wardrobe, bringing with them many beautiful outfits.
However, Jerome was clearly tangled up with Bellina. He was the type of person who couldn’t be firm and say no to her.
Timothy sent the photos taken earlier to Jerome’s phone.
“No matter what, I’ll always be behind you, supporting you,” Timothy said, his tone much softer than before, patting Jerome on
the back.
Jerome’s eyes became moist, and he nodded, his voice hoarse, “Thank you.”
Joycelyn stepped forward and gave him a warm hug, whispering, “Jerome, we’ll always be family. You’re one of us.”
She took a moment to adjust his suit and shirt, her smile soft and kind. In Jerome’s eyes, it was the kind of warmth that felt
almost unreal, so close yet so out of reach.
“Jerome, go take care of your things. I’ll make sure to send you a little gift and start your own fund,” Jeff added.
“You’ve been married before, so you know more than us,” Zack said with a mischievous grin, nudging Shirley.
“I have my own ways,” Shirley replied calmly, her voice full of commanding presence.
Jeff laughed awkwardly, and the group continued talking, all while Jerome stood at a distance, sensing the shift in the air.
“I’ll head out now. Have fun,” Jerome said quickly, trying to leave before he found himself reluctant to go.

With that, he turned and quickly walked to his car, answering Bellina’s call as he got in.
“I’ll be back soon,” he said before hanging up and starting the engine.
As he drove away, Joycelyn sighed softly.
From the moment she met Jerome, she knew how deeply he cared for Bellina. But now, seeing them marry, she couldn’t help but
wonder how things would unfold for him.

“Will Jerome be happy?” Joycelyn whispered, her gaze lingering, unfocused.
She wasn’t so sure. It seemed like Jerome was a puppet controlled by Bellina. Perhaps, after all these years, his love for Bellina
wasn’t love at all but a way to transfer his grief. What was once a childhood wound had now become a kind of self- destructive
obsession.
