Cherish After Losing Novel Ashley
He could ask Dad to tell Mom he wanted Tanya to take him to school, but Mom might argue Dad.

He lost appetite. He could compromise about school, but he had to go to Tanya’s race. He Headed, “You promised to take me to
Tanya’s race, but Mom won’t let me go if she knows, so don’t tell her. Lie to her if she asks.”
“Okay.”
Relieved, Sam cheered up. Chase left after breakfast.
Ashley didn’t see Chase at the office. At noon, Amanda called, asking her to have lunch together. The restaurant was near
Sterling Corp.
When she arrived, she heard someone talking.“Chase, thank you so much. I wouldn’t have closed the deal without you.”
Ashley stopped. She saw her father, Mark Mond.
Chase said, “You’re welcome, Uncle.”
Ashley clenched her fist. Chase’s tone was warmer than usual. He only treated those he valued like that. He was probably
helping her father because of Tanya. She hadn’t seen her father much after his divorce from her mother. He had only publicly
acknowledged Tanya as his child. They were just like strangers.
“We don’t live here, so please help me take care of Tanya.” Mark said to Chase.
