Bianca, not ready to give up, tried again. “Honey, please, just let me explain...”
But Finley was already disgusted, especially hearing Bianca repeatedly call him “honey.” Did she really think she could humiliate him even more?
With an indifferent tone, Finley responded, “Just leave. We’re done here. I never thought you could be this kind of person. I got too deep, too blind to
see it–now I can see it clearly. From now on, we’re strangers.”
Bianca stood there, struck speechless by his cold rejection.
Maybe she should’ve expected this outcome all along.
Her sweet words no longer held any sway over Finley; he wasn’t fooled anymore. No one could bear to have a partner who was out there playing
around with anyone.
But still, a flicker of hope remained in Bianca’s heart. “Honey... you really don’t want me anymore?”
Finley’s reply was sharp. “No, I don’t.”
Bianca’s eyes flashed with a new intensity, a coldness far removed from her previous softness. “Finley,” she said, her voice low and dangerous.
“You’ll regret this. You will regret it.”
Sadly, even her biting words couldn’t sway him. Finley didn’t respond, instead turning away and walking down the aisle, his back to her as he made
his way to Elaine, intending to apologize for all the wrongs he had done to her. Everything that had happened was his fault.
Bianca watched Finley’s retreating figure, her grip tightening on the hem of her wedding dress. A wave of abandonment and betrayal washed over
her, and for the first time, she felt the crushing weight of what she had lost.
“Elaine,” Finley called as he approached her.

Elaine instinctively frowned, “What, now you want to settle the score, Finley?”
“No,” Finley replied quickly, “I just want to say I’m sorry.”
Elaine raised an eyebrow. “Oh?”
The word “sorry” seemed to carry a bad omen for her. She didn’t want any part of his remorse.

“Save it,” she snapped, her tone icy. “I’m not interested in your apologies. I don’t want to be the one you feel sorry for. I don’t want to be part of your
life, where you owe people like me something. I’m not going to let you tarnish my life with your regrets.”
Finley understood then–he was nothing but a small player in Elaine’s eyes. She didn’t need his apology, didn’t want it. It was too little, too late.
With a bitter smile, he said nothing more. He simply turned and walked away, choosing silence over any further attempts to salvage what had been
broken beyond repair.
Elaine didn’t look at him again. The show was over. She yawned and turned to leave, signaling to her family.
“Mom, Kingsley, let’s go home,” she said.
Kingsley nodded, and Shirley, bored of the drama, followed. They didn’t head back to Lento immediately but instead returned to their house in
Boynton, the base for Radiant Media.

“The old soothsayer told us Bianca was our lucky star, Ella continued, trying to play the victim, and we fell for Ber you, Elaine, you’re the true heir.
How could we not love you more than her?”
Elaine could hear the insincerity in every word. Ella was trying to manipulate her emotions, hoping for forgiveness and a chance to get back in her
good graces.
“And now,” Ella added, “your mother’s with Jepson. He’s out of the danger zone, and I’m sure he’ll recover soon

Elaine didn’t buy it. Ella was trying to tug at her heartstrings by mentioning Jepson’s condition–no one could forget how Ella had treated him before.
“Elaine, please, forgive us. Come back to the Yeats family. We’ll treat you like the princess you are–no, even better than Bianca. Please, just give us
a chance.
Elaine stared at her, fully aware of Ella’s intentions. She wanted her back in the family because of her newfound wealth and
status.
But that wasn’t going to happen.
Elaine stood up, her voice cutting through the air like a knife. “Not happening”
She threw a look at Ella, her gaze sharp. “Stop blaming others for your mess. You and Tracy made all the wrong choices, and now you want to shift
the blame? From the moment I returned to the Yeats family, you never even looked at me. You didn’t care about me then, and now that I’m
successful, you come crawling back.”
Elaine flicked the photo of the so–called “family portrait“ in front of her. “You know what? I wasn’t even properly in this photo–just half my head. But
your precious Bianca is front and center, smiling like she owns the place.”

She leaned in slightly, her voice laced with sarcasm. “Well, I hope you and Bianca stay close. After all, she’s your lucky stá now, right? I sincerely
wish you both a lifetime of happiness together.”
Her words were like a curse, echoing in the air. Ella’s precious “lucky star” had caused nothing but disaster for the Yeats family, and Elaine knew it
would only get worse from here.
Ella’s face hardened with realization, but she didn’t say anything. The words stung too much.

And as for Bianca, now that her wedding had been publicly annulled, she returned to the Yeats family, hiding under Tracy’s protection. But the act
was wearing thin. Bianca was no longer pretending to be the sweet angel. She rolled her eyes at every inconvenience and snapped at Ella when it
came time to feed her medicine.
Ella’s frustration boiled over. She was sick of Bianca, sick of everything. She cursed under her breath, feeling the weight of everything closing in on
her.
