Awake for Love: My Coma Bridegroom

Chapter 643

At that moment, the doctor approached the bed with a hospital admission form. “Ms. Dennis, your admission form is ready.”
From the other end of the phone, Joey heard these words and his nerves tightened. “Violette, what’s wrong? Why are you being admitted to the
hospital? Which hospital are you in? I’m coming right now!”
Violette couldn’t hide the truth, so she confessed everything. After she hung up the phone, her secretary offered, “Ms. Dennis, I’ll go and pay the
hospital bill for you.”
Violette replied, “Thank you. Once you’ve paid, go back to the office.”
Secretary said, “Ms. Dennis, I can stay and take care of you in the hospital.”
Violette said, “It’s okay. You go back and tell everyone that I’m fine. Once I’ve figured out how to deal with this, I’ll call the deputy chief.”
Secretary replied, “Alright, Ms. Dennis.”

Twenty minutes later, Joey arrived at the hospital. Taking in Violette’s condition, he suggested, “I’ll have Lacey come and take care of you. You just
focus on getting better. Don’t worry about anything else.”
“I’m feeling much better now,” she responded calmly.
“Good. I’ve asked the bodyguard to get some food. After you eat, have a good rest,” Joey advised.
“Alright.”
Ten hours later, Mike and Elijah returned to the country. The moon was high in the sky, and the stars were twinkling brightly.
Joey was waiting for them at the airport.
Elijah asked Joey to drive Mike home. Joey, grabbing Mike’s arm, ushered him into the car. Mike wore a puzzled expression. “Why is Elijah suddenly
being so nice to me? It’s a bit strange.”
Joey said, “Stop overthinking! It’s late and he has his own bodyguard.”
Finishing his sentence, Joey climbed into the driver’s seat and headed towards Silverleaf Ridge.
Mike asked, “Didn’t you say Violette was in the hospital? I should go and see her first.”

Joey said, “She’s asleep now. You can’t do anything if you go. She’s in good spirits. I visited her tonight. Lacey is there taking care of her, so you don’t
need to worry.”
Mike said, “That’s good to hear... As soon as I turned on my phone after landing, I saw your message about her being in the hospital. It nearly gave
me a heart attack. I could care less about the company going under. I just hope she’s alright.”
Joey said, “What a defeatist attitude! My boss won’t let the Dennis Group go under.”
Mike, leaning back in the seat, looked out the window. “You make him sound like some kind of savior. Without your boss, our company wouldn’t be in
danger of going under in the first place.”
“Well, in that case, just go home and get some sleep. We’ll deal with everything else in the morning.”
“Alright.”
The sleek black Rolls-Royce cut through the city night like an arrow, finally stopping in front of the Dennis Group building. Moments later, the lights in
the Dennis Group building were blazing. All the staff in the tech and research departments received an urgent notification from Reaves, saying that
Mike was back and had a solution. Everyone needed to come to the office immediately for a meeting.
An hour later, everyone had arrived. As they entered the meeting room, their phones were confiscated by the black-suited bodyguards!
In the midst of their protests, they were shocked to see that the man sitting in the chairman’s seat wasn’t Mike – it was Elijah!
