"That's me, Ollie and... your dad." That was when I started sobbing. My heart was breaking over and over...
I couldn't believe my dad could ever do this. I couldn't believe Aurora would ever do this to me. Everyone I loved wasn't what I thought.
My sobs didn't cease until I saw my torturer. "What did I say about being loud," I didn't breathe. I watched him with wide eyes to reveal the face
behind the mask. It was Ollie! Cheerful friendly Oliver. "I'll let it slide just this time." He gave me a cheerful smile. One I was so used of.
I had to wake up from this nightmare.
"But," He paused. "I can't seem to forget you slapped my daughter." His whole expression shifted before his fist balled and crashed into my face over
and over until I felt nothing.
Just. Nothing.
The ringing in my ears was so much I couldn't focus on anything. Someone was shouting. They seemed so distressed, they needed help... or was I
the one screaming?!
Gunshots sounded through the vacancy but weirdly enough, I still didn't feel pain. Maybe I was dead!
The ever so persisting ringing started getting louder and louder. Consuming me. Getting me into its mist.
And then... nothing.
Chapter 58
"Aurora," I scoffed.
"You're making me sad. Is that how you greet me now," She said earning a chuckle from Desmond.
"Let me guess, you're the one who ordered him to kidnap me." I glanced at Desmond to get my point through.
"It's nothing personal, honey. I still like you." She smiled her warm smile that used to make my nerves disappear. "Remember that story about the two
