Chapter 600
Seeing the girl still looking at him with a dumbfounded gaze, Coffey said, "Maybe I should bring some drugs here and take it right in front of you. You'll
be able to see Steven within a few hours."
It took Chloe over a quarter to understand.
She followed Coffey from the bedroom to the kitchen. She watched him cooking. The muscles of his arms and the cold expression on his face
seemed so unreal.
She put her jaw on the desk and asked again, "So this is your original look?"
"Yes."
"Then why did you turn like that?" Chloe asked, "Why didn't you tell me? I thought you were different people!"
"Justin didn't want me to say it."
"Is he your God? Then what am I to you?" She felt depressed for quite a while. When she suddenly reached out and put her hand in his clothes. She
touched him, and it feels good.
Her eyes lit up. "Wow, more muscles! Great!"
"Stop that." It was early in the morning. Coffey couldn't bear to be aroused. He took her hands away.
However, soon afterward, Chloe jumped over and continued to touch him.
"I like how you look now," Chloe said. Her guilt was all gone since she knew she had been loving the same man. She whispered, "You turned young,
then what about that part?"
Coffey had been with her long enough to read her weird indications and metaphors.
He turned over to look at her with a playful smile, "What? Did my service fail you before?"
"That's not what I mean..."
Coffey picked her up and carried her to the bedroom. "You're not going anywhere today! We won't stop until dinner!"
Lily was was still very busy after she was back from abroad.
Louis is in charge of the Smith Group, and for her, the HS Company and the Long Peace Group. She was on the go almost every day. There was
always a meeting for her, big or small. She also had to keep an eye on several projects.
Fortunately, things had been going on well in Y Country. She felt relieved as long as Victor was in Krislier.
The three children are taken care of by the nanny and the servants. Lily didn't have to worry about them.
Louis was a bit worried when he saw her being so tired. He wanted to take her out for a trip, but she wasn't in the mood.
One day, Stella called Lily and asked her to drop by.
Lily then drove to the hospital. As soon as she entered the ward, she noticed that a woman was sitting by the bedside. She had her back to Lily,
therefore, Lily could only see her long hair and the bulging belly under her dress. It seemed that she was going into labor soon.
"Lily," Stella smiled at Lily and said, "Check out who this is."
Lily still didn't know what was happening. She put the fruits on the nightstand and asked with a smile, "Is she your friend?"
Stella smiled and didn't say anything.
The pregnant woman stood up and turned over to look at Lily. Her smile was so gentle. "Hello, Lily."
Lily stared at her and was taken back for quite a while.
Almost a minute later, Lily's eyes blinked. She hugged the woman and sobbed, "You haven't called us for months! How could you do that?"
"It's alright now! Save your tears." Jessie was about to cry, too. She patted Lily on her back and said, "I knew you were busy, so I didn't want to
impose on you, and... I was fine, really."
"That's no excuse to keep us worried about you." Lily helped her to sit down.
Lily had been worried for months, and she could barely sleep at night. Now she finally felt relieved.
Lily knelt down and fondled her belly. "Boy or girl?"
"A boy" Jessie tucked a few streaks of hair behind her ear and complained, "He wouldn't stop kicking me in the past few months. What a Casper! I felt
so annoyed."
Lily looked a bit disappointed, "I was going to match your baby with mine if it was a girl. But a boy is also OK, they can be friends and hang out."
"Maybe we should forget about it," Stella could help to notify, "Don't you know Leigh and how he's like?"
The three women fell in silence and burst into laughter at the same time.
Jessie stroked her belly and said helplessly, "I'll try my best to pass what I have to him, but that's the best I can do."
"There's no way for you to stop that, " Stella joked, "Like father, like son."
Lily rolled her eyes at her and laughed, "Come on. Joshua wouldn't turn out to be a Saint, too. He's so young and he could barely stop thinking about
my daughter! Doesn't he have other girls in his life? For god's sake!"
"Let's drop this and discuss something else." Stella finally gave in. "I still want her daughter as my daughter-in-law."
Jessie covered her mouth and smiled.
The three chatted in the ward all morning, during which Lily called Justin to come over.
check-up. Lily and he were waiting for her outside.
Justin wrapped his arms around himself. He looked at the check-up room and sighed, "All of them have wives and kids, even Leigh was lucky to have
his family. Why am I still alone?"
"You were too busy to have a date," Lily smiled and suddenly came up with an idea. She asked, "I knew someone whose profession matches with
yours. Maybe you should meet."
Justin paused and smiled, "Since when you’ve become a matchmaker?"
"I just don't want you to be alone by the time we are all married. That will be too hard to watch," Lily said as she took out her phone, "I'm forwarding
her name card to you. She has been a bit busy lately."
Justin believed in Lily's taste, and he knew he couldn't be married to his work forever, so he agreed to meet that person.
Lily put away her phone and asked, "How's Sofia lately?"
Justin knew Lily must have known something, so he decided not to hide anything away from her. "The woman is untamed. She has tried every way to
escape. We've kept her under watch. The baby is fine. It's a girl."

"David must be happy," Lily sighed, "Tell me when she's going into labor."
Justin nodded.
It was already four o'clock in the afternoon after all the check-ups were done for Jessie.
The doctor said that Jessie's delivery date is drawing near, and they suggested she stay in hospital from now on. Her pelvic bones were wide and she
was quite healthy, therefore the birth would be natural.
Lily handled the inpatient admission for Jessie, but Jessie refused to be admitted. She said, "They said the delivery date is drawing near, they didn't
say that I would go into labor within days. I want to go and find Leigh."
"What for? You'll never know where he's fooling around!" Lily still couldn't forgive Leigh for what he had done. She said with a sullen face, "Just stay
here and wait for the day to come!"
"Lily!" Jessie held her hand and smiled, "The past is the past. I'm alright now. He will have to come anyway if I don't go and find him."
Jessie promised her, "I'll let him send me back and wait for the delivery date as soon as I found him. Don't worry.
As angry as Lily was, she was unable to dissuade Jessie. So she sent her to the club.
It was only 18:00 and it was not dark yet. There weren't so many guests in the club. Jessie asked the manager and was told that Leigh hadn't come.
So she asked the managed to get a room for her first.
She had been running around all day and just returned to Yorkshire. It was too tiring and she felt worn out.
